There is a post on this since 2009...6yrs & still nothing?...very disappointing IPAM Subnet Search
-
This is urgently needed, this is the software Cisco is pushing for use with their newer model routers especially.
-
+1...this is badly needed...running IPAM 4.3 & it still isn't implemented.
-
Has this been implemented yet?
-
No, I'm not seeing any Serial numbers.

Thanks

Thanks for this info, It's sad that i'm using NPM 12.1 & the option to format the result isn't available. Especially since this has been available for years in previous versions.

Thanks for the response zackm, I did see the legacy reports when I searched but I haven't been able to tweak them as I want to. I was looking at recreating these reports using the web-based report manager. Specifically i'm looking at creating a custom table report using the Dynamic Query Builder, but i'm seeing no IPSLA…

Any response on the ticket?

My issue was resolved with the help of technical support. The configuration wizard was run & a different Website Root Directory was created. The installation went smoothly & the additional web server was back up & running in a few minutes. I think the issue was that the configuration wizard didn't run after the initial…

I'm now able to get SNMP information for all Meraki devices in my current environment. This is after applying firmware updates that Meraki had released somewhere between August-December 2016. Confirmed models: Switches - MS220, MS320, MS350, MS420 (Incorrectly categorized as Wireless Autonomous AP & no CPU/Memory info)…

This is an excellent solution...works just fine. Added a few modifications in an attempt to show the date the messages were received for the past year. (Results will depend on data retention settings for Syslog) SELECT DateTime AS DateTime, Hostname, SUBSTRING(Message, CHARINDEX('putting ', Message) + 7, len(Message)) AS…

VRFs are common place in any enterprise network, this would be a major time saver.

Excellent post...thanks man.

Thanks so much for sharing, this tool gets the job done. I can see with the rationale that the IP addresses wouldn't be populated automatically due to potential licensing issues. I am unable to comprehend the fact that an option to populate imported subnets isn't built into IPAM in the first place. This could be a button…

Having the same issue after attempted installation of SolarWinds-Orion-AdditionalWebsite-2014.07.29-b109-SB. Opened a ticket & called into technical support. Had to wait 30 minutes before getting answered, hopefully i'll get a resolution.

I recently started using IPAM & was sorely disappointed when after importing subnets i realized that none of them were populated with IP address. I later found out that there was a Solarwinds tool that would add the IP addresses to the existing subnets. My question is why is this tool not integrated with IPAM in the first…

Nice post, I managed to find these settings as well after a lot of digging, I had mixed results though. Even though all the Meraki equipment I added was detected as Meraki & SNMP seemed to be working fine, i soon realized that for most of them interface data was missing. When I did list resources the interfaces didn't even…

An option to automatically check for a more detailed polling method during network discoveries would be nice. It isn't uncommon to run an initial discovery of a couple hundred nodes & half of them don't have WMI/SNMP enabled or allowed through the firewall (for example). If they are added as ICMP nodes initially & another…
