Will do. thanks
-
Putting it on a rescheduled start doesn't work either. I am opening a case with Solarwinds since they haven't chimed in yet.
-
>>>Also you need to verify that your account settings node details view is set to "By Device type" This solved the last problem. thanks!
-
I'll try that as a workaround also. Thanks.
-
I attached the snmpd.conf file I am using.
-
Yes. :) I fixed the issue of Solarwinds not showing it as VMware - one of our network admins "tweaked" the snmp.conf file. However, I still don't see the VM's and I confirmed that the view is set to ESX Server Details. Did I miss a step?

They all link to the same URL: netmon.morainepark.edu/.../ApplicationDetails.aspx
-
Works in IE6.
-
I was instructed to call in and open a support ticket but I decided to instead migrate from Novell to Microsoft. :-) Maybe next week I can break away for an hour to call in. What equipment are you using?
-
Sorry about the Orion version. Firefox version is 2.0.0.16
-
I must have something limited in my snmp configuration that it returns net-snmp.
-
Mcdata 4500 switches - model DS-24M2
-
And it is assigned only once to the server.
-
It doesn't look like I am monitoring the same thing 3 times. (ignore the down warnings - that is the APM bug mentioned in another post)
-
Is this the issue you are having in Notes?
-
Hi. We had to make sure there was a level 3 router listed for that device.
-
Screenshots would be great of what you have working.
-
What are you doing with this feature? I still have to login to the orion website once I get past the IIS login....is there a way to remove the Orion login step? thanks
-
I look forward to trying it and I'll volunteer if you want a beta tester.
-
Is it far out on the roadmap? Virtualizing my datacenter equates to needing stats on my FC switches. I didn't care much before. :)
-
Were they able to reproduce the problem?
-
Can you point me to where I can find how to setup SNMP correctly on ESX for use with Orion? I have the same hosts set in Orion since version 7 or 8. thanks
-
Hi. I just installed 10.2.1 yesterday afternoon and its running great. Thanks
-
I added all interfaces in system manager and added all interfaces in NTA settings and I get the same problem.
-
If it matters, the problem server is 64 bit Windows 2003 R2.
-
netmon.morainepark.edu/.../MonitorDetails.aspx netmon.morainepark.edu/.../MonitorDetails.aspx netmon.morainepark.edu/.../MonitorDetails.aspx And the process ID for each of these links is 376 which matches what is on ADDC3.
-
This fixed my upgrade too.
-
Same here. I was having major problems with 7.0 and "noticed" that 7.05 was out which fixed my problems. Coulid have saved me two weeks worth of headache. They make a great program like Orion but can't setup a simple mailing list? Cmon!
-
Thanks! I'll thwack myself for missing it on the search. For some reason your M$ URL is flaky. This works: support.microsoft.com/default.aspx
-
I'm downloading now. But I go on vacation in 8 minuts. ARGH!
