I don't seem to be getting points (and can't view my current total). Also, is the store down for everyone? Pretty sad start to a "new" Thwack so far…
-
Anyone else confused by today's question and hint?
-
No points for today - this is getting kind of sad.
-
asheppard970 - your argument is having your cake and eating it too. However, I am am willing to concede that the cake is a lie:
-
@"tosborne3" I suppose you are right. I guess I misinterpreted this line to mean MMO: "this was specifically designed to talk about things besides video games, as those are mostly already designed for online multiplayer. " However, I would argue my point about "traditional" vs "modern" video games still holds.

Another ridiculously annoying trick question today. Are these mind games or product learning?!?!
-
Here here! knucklebusted, you are absolutely correct. The marketing material (and accompanying questions) have been confusing and very poorly written. This only causes uncertainty surrounding the product(s) and I would think this is the antithesis of the goal of the missions. That said, I am glad we will at least get a…

Computers are logical. I am logical. Therefore I am a computer.
-
Maybe it is just me, but today's question (19th) seems poorly worded. Oh well.
-
@"kpina" The poll is missing for today.
-
12D - pretty sure I got it. What does Weird Al call Nirvana?
-
If you are bothered because people are logically explaining that there is more than one valid answer for a question, then maybe you are in the wrong line of work. IT deals in logic. I can legitimately give an alternative answer to 18A that is arguably more accurate than the "desired" answer, but that seems to be…

This one kinda feels like a trick question (or bad marketing). If there is a list of recovery options in the document, I would presume those are my choices and the subsequent pages will gives additional detail and not have a contradictory list. Rather frustrating!
-
Seconded - this seems either worded very poorly or just plain incorrect.
-
still broken for me
-
Not sure if we are allowed to give away answers, so I was being a little cryptic. Maybe I can help another way...what location in a building did Apple get it's start? It is the same place a lot of small bands start.
-
Linking to the Forbes site is extremely frustrating as they strongly oppose ad-blockers. Please don't use such a terrible site in the future if it can be avoided.
-
I don't seem to be able to place a vote.
-
msarkar Do you mind not spamming us with the "comment helpful"? That is quite inappropriate and unprofessional. Any moderators want to chime in?
-
Agreed. This is NOT easily searchable and is quite a pain.
-
@"yumdarling" I also choose nodes and got that dreaded X, but he clearly talks about them and describes them. What gives?
-
Lack of control. For example, not having any say in door security or copiers but still needing to maintain and secure them.
-
jcournoyer@maybury.com Agreed. This felt like a cheap trick. I am not always interested in every program they release.
-
Yep, got the dread X for day 3. This is a very rough month so far.
-
Agreed.....Worst. Marketing. Ever.
-
The hint link is broken for day 13 but I am no longer surprised. This month has been a train wreck.
-
It didn't update for the new question for me. Really rather unfair to punish people for a browser refresh problem.
-
Has there been any word on when this will be available for purchase?
-
@"[Deleted User]" I also got it wrong but the article clearly talks about "Chatbots and Virtual Assistants: AI-powered chatbots can respond instantly to user inquiries, helping resolve issues without human intervention for basic queries."
-
There is more than one answer that fits both the clue and the space for 18A and mine was "incorrect". Apparently, "coffeelevel" isn't a valid answer despite the fact that it IS what it was used for. Any chance of a reset @"the_ben_keen"? This doesn't feel fair when it is technically correct.
