All pages are slow. I posted the Hubble outputs from recently and from 2 years ago. They both show the same thing. I'm just looking for information on whether or not turning on query caching as Hubble suggests will cause adverse ef

It's currently a dedicated SQL server with the below specs: 256 GB RAM Intel Xeon Gold 6334 CPU @ 3.60GHz 3 TB HDD for system/ 18 TB SSD for SQL storage - RAID 10

Thank you. I'll take a look. I have looked at that second link you sent and done most of those things, but the issue is that the Database Time is what's insanely high, not the Other Time. That's why we're looking into the DB caching.

I guess I'm not sure what you mean with the SSL cert. We do require SSL, but I don't understand the IIS settings you're talking about. The database is large (we have a very powerful server setup to handle it) and we do run database maintenance once per week. The issue, according to the Hubble outputs, appears to be with…

Unfortunately, the system is still public-internet facing due to some limitations in the nature of our business and need for employees to access the system when VPN isn't an option. The root cert checks are something I discussed at length with our IT director.

@"KMSigma.SWI"How is COVID-19 affecting the SWUGs this year? I know a lot of companies are cancelling their user events because of the threat. Atlassian just cancelled their annual Summit in Vegas later this month.

The video won't play. Says it's private.

Love this article! I know one of the key reasons I was ever even given a chance to begin in network operations was because of my soft skills. They really can go a long way and help to get your foot in the door to create some opportunities for more success.

I found the correct answer to today's question here. I can't log into the demo site, it says the pre-filled username and password are incorrect. Same happened yesterday.

Despite a slight struggle with getting logged back in (shout out to @"yumdarling" for taking care of that for me), I'm in and everything looks awesome! Thanks for all y'all do, @"danielleh" and team!

An Ode to Network Operations From alerts to tickets to contacts for on-call, To bridges and change reviews, you do it all. Late nights, early mornings, and weekends the same. Awesome, thanks! I was just curious.

@"dmvrtisjr"I did the same thing and got a big red X. Should have checked the comments first. *facepalm*

Well, I'm closer to Dallas, but we have approval to travel to Austin, San Antonio or Houston too.

For a Texas based company, why no Texas SWUGs? Bring the SWUG to Texas!

You're welcome

They're gone for me too...or they aren't loading up for some reason.

So excited for the QoL changes coming (for both the devs and users). We got so spoiled with the old platform and I can't wait to see what the team has in store for us with the upcoming migration. Keep being rockstars, admins. You're killing it.

Not much of an API Poller user here, sorry.
-
I have this same problem (running the newest version) and the above reply doesn't seem to resolve it for me.
-
Ah, that makes sense. It seemed to miss the mark slightly.
-
The server itself isn't having an issue showing the NIC, it's just missing from Solarwinds. Since this is our main DC, I would prefer to make that a last resort step if nothing else seems to work.
-
Fortunately, our infrastructure is fairly small, so I only have the one polling engine lol. It does have SAM installed on it. It's just weird because this is the only server that's doing this which leads me to believe that it's something on the server causing the issue. It's just difficult to track it down since I can't…

Those hosts are not showing up in the VISDK MOB.

The timezones on the Orion server and SQL do match and services were restarted, but the times on the UnDP are still mismatched.

I tried that test yesterday and kept getting an error, so it wouldn't even complete the test. I sent that article over to the admin for that server so we can see what might be causing that error to go from there.
