I had not tried. I will have to pick a valid account of someone in my group to delte and recreate to test it. The new account was for a director and I am not going to have him try it for me.

I noticed the same thing for nodes with no SNMP location string. I have the (LOG OUT) as well, but I can click on the words inside the parentheses and actually log out. Oddly, we use Windows passthrough authentication and the name listed for my account does not match my name. Not to mention I can not add any new domain…

Do you know yet when it will actually be released? It is annoying having to restart the service constantly, not to mention the loss of data when I forget to check it.

Nope.

On my 2800 and 3800 routers these are the commands I use to get them exporting. Ip flow-export destination xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx 2055 Ip flow-export source loopback 0 Ip flow-export version 5 Interface serial0/0/0.xx Ip flow ingress Loopback0 is the interface I use to monitor my devices.

We would need the ability to add a port number to the telnet setup. Rather than logging into the TS and then connecting, you can telnet directly to a port which is unique for each connected device.

Was a resolution for this found? I am having a similiar problem.

I'm gathering Netflow data from about a dozen 6509s with a mixture of Sup720s abd 7203BXLs. It has minimal impact on all of them. In total I am collecting data from an additional 60 or so routers across an MPLS network, with no ill affects. As an example. Between 10 and 11 AM on 12/11 Netflow accounted for 1.24% of my MPLS…

In ACS 5.1, you have to setup a software repository pointing to the FTP server and folder you want to use for your backups. You then schedule a backup to send to that repository. You would find both of those under Sytems Administration/Operations. I don't know about ACS 4.2. I do not know of a way to bring them into NCM.…

I was looking at it. It won't be pretty but you can try modifying this to fit your need. You might have to run int on the NetFlowSummary1&2 tables. The majority of my data is in Summary2. The addresses do not show up formatted, but rather as 11 or 12 digit numbers. The SourceIPSort would be the IP address you want to find.…

Another option would be to be able to setup views of with subsets of the active Alerts, rather than just All Active Alerts.

Update. The query is still running. It has been over going for over 16 hours now.

Looking around Cirrus, the switches with serial numbers are listed in the Physical Entities section of the Inventory.

Why don't you just create a view with the maps you want to see? I removed the All Maps view from our menu for just the reason you mention above.

Thanks. I opened a support ticket and sent the file.

They need to add a toggle for each object that can turn this on and off.

I get them at times. To date I have ignored them. Let me know what they say.

I'm another customer with a number of LWAPs deployed. Currently about 33% of our APs are LWAPs, and we are getting ready to convert more of our larger sites in the near future. Of course we still have trouble getting the Network discovery to find our regular Cisco APs and without the time to manually enter all of them we…

It appears that Netflow is not supported on a 3560. Unsupported Global Configuration Commands ip flow-aggregation cache ip flow-cache entries ip flow-export

I have the same problem. I am trying it in the report writer now. I am attemtping to run the top 20 Traffic sources by domain for the last 7 days. So far it has been running for over 3 hours. I have approximately 35 devices currently being monitored. NTA says I have 271 source interfaces.

The sad thing is, there were things that worked on x64 in V7 that do not work in V8. I ran v7 on x64 from the day I got it, and only had problems with the SNMP Trap add-on. With V8, the main application runs, but I can not get any of the other services to run, and I am no longer even able to modify which interfaces are…

I have both running on one server and had no issues upgrading the application from 7.8.5 to 8.0.0. My only issue came from the fact that I had them on an x64 server rather than x86. I am now in the process of moving the application to an x86 server to get it fully funcional once again.

My 8.5.1 install links to the same URL and it works for me. Odd that many of the Admin links were left in theold Netperfmon folders. Did you look to see if the file is actually there or possibly in the Solarwinds\Orion\Admin folder

I'm running SQL 2000 on a separate server using SAN storage. It is running on Windows 2003 x64 connected via Fiberchannel to the SAN. It's running fine, and has been since December of last year. I also have NTA running on it.My database is around 26Gb.
