I am confused. I was under the impression that an additional engine poller is just another install of NPM on a different server. Is this not the case? If so then what exactly is an additional poller and how do you actually install it and make it the 'secondary' poller?

Apologies for the late reply (I was seconded elsewere and just getting back to Orion). I tired your solution for Q1 however when I look at 'Interface Elements' under Admin->Polling Engine the number counter remains the same. Shouldn't this number decrease once a selection of interfaces have been unmanaged?

In NPM v10.1 I can not poll more frequesntly than 1minute. Is 30seconds polling only available in NPMv10.2? Also will increasing the SNMP request timeout threshold help or increasing the polling interval to 30seconds (and sampling at 1minute) the only way to fix this?

The hotfixes did not fix it. I continue you get the pop-up everytime I start an Engineer's Toolset application. Can't disable the 'Application Improvement Program' either as launching the 'Configure Appliation Improvement' results in the same error message to pop-up and once it has popped up the only options available to…

Thanks. I have applied the latest patch and will monitor. BTW what does 'Application Improvement Program' do? By the sound of the name it does not feel like it is something which should be disabled.

Any solution to this issue. We can not add Windows server via SNMP into Orion. SNMP string being used is public. Oddly we can add the same Windows server via SNMP and do an SNMP walk from Argent. Running NPM 10.1.1 and Orion 2010.2.1.
