We are trying to move everything to ssh, maybe if there would be a quicker way to identify all devices that still use telnet instead of logging in to all devices to check. I'm not really familiar with filtering or generating reports on SolarWinds
-
Yes, I can log in and do changes. Its works perfect via telnet. It just wont let it download configs. Im just checking now if we have support with Solarwinds then I can put in a request or call technical support
-
it keeps giving me the same error again. weird coz other switches with no issue use the exact same template settings
-
here you go, hope this helps

ive tried a couple times re-entering the password on NCM properties, but still no change. Ive already escalated this issue to solarwinds. Ill update once they figure this out
-
hi chris, I checked and it seems to have the same setting as the other devices that can download configs. I clicked test on NCM properties and same error showed up again. Any other ideas? Thanks again

Solarwinds support figured out the cause instead of startup-config, its just config thanks a lot guys for the effort

I watched the solarwinds tech guy go through all that, even made some changes. But good news, its been resolved now. for some reason, a Reboot of the Solarwinds Server fixed the problem. I cant even tell you how this happened but it worked. thanks Guys for taking the time!! have a great solarwinds day
