It sounds like you may not have SNMP running on the target device. Have you verified that SNMP is enabled?

If you chose SNMPv3 when adding a node it gives the option to delete/save credential sets.

You might try the product updates section under the settings link in the upper right hand corner. There is a checkbox for enable product updates. Not sure if it applies to the license stuff or not. I think it may only be for versioning.

When setting up your Universal Poller, Get Table will not offer gauges as an option for display. Using Get Next will give you the option to display gauges. THere is an advanced section in poller configuration that you can expand that will let you change the option.

Since it's SOLARwinds. Why not Star names? or constellations? There's already a product with the Orion name. It wouldn't be a stretch.
