I don't believe that would be expected behavior... Give me a bit to check with the team and get back to you.
-
This likely means that the CPU and Memory metrics (OIDs) are not exposed by the vendor or are not where they are expected. You could use an SNMP walk or ask the vendor for docs that outline the CPU and Memory OIDs and then use that info in device studio to add the relevant info to the poller: Change device details in the…

Ah ok. That makes sense. In which case you would probably want VolumeStatus instead of ProtectionStatus but either way that should get you started on something... One other suggestion... If you haven't already, you could add a custom property to those servers to show they have a bit lock drive and use that to create a…

If you only have web console access you might be able (depending on your level of access) to go to Settings -> All Settings -> Orion Service Manager To access the Traps Screen click on "Alerts and Activity" (third screen shot below)

Sorry, I should have been more clear in my initial reply. You need to add the cluster IP as a node as well before you try to apply the template. When you are adding the cluster VIP and it goes through the step of listing resources and asking you what to monitor on that node, I would de-select things like the C drive etc.…
-
Just go into the "Advanced" setting for the column you want to be clickable and select "Details Page Link" from the "Add Display Settings:" drop down
-
Sorry Ajay, I just re-read your original post and realized you are asking if you can use the agent for the VIP node. I would not do that. It is fine to use the agent on the actual physical nodes but for the VIP I would use WMI. Keeping in mind that the reason for the VIP node is to follow the stuff that can move and an…

Happy to help!

@matt_rees In the web based report writer it would just be a matter of adding a datasource, choosing a custom table and then using the below query as your selection SELECT COUNT(NodeID) AS 'Count Of Down Nodes' FROM [dbo].[Nodes] WHERE Status = '2'

There are two ways in which Orion connects to a database. One is the connection to its own database that is used for Orion to collect historical data. The other is when it has been configured by the user to monitor a database as an application. In the latter case it is making a connection to the database in order to gather…

Yes, you can adjust the interval that transactions run on. The minimum is one minute.
-
There is a tool called "Unmanage Scheduling Utility" on the start menu under SolarWinds Orion -> Advanced Features that allows for scheduling unmanage tasks
-
You might want to look at the tables that start with "AssetInventory_" For example, AssetInventory_NetworkInterface would give you the MAC and IP.
-
The DNS monitor is a component so you should be able to create a component based alert for that.
-
Yes, it would be a feature request and I created one here for you to vote on:

The latest RC which features a new Chromium based browser engine went live today for customers under active maintenance: WPM 3.0 RELEASE CANDIDATE 1 NOW AVAILABLE! What's New in WPM 3.0 - Chromium Based Recorder and Player
-
Hi Werner, If you can send me your SWID I will check to see if your account has access to the beta.
-
Hi Chris, I'll message you privately but the short answer is yes I can get you access to the beta.

Try these instead: Supported Storage Devices - Storage Resource Monitor | SolarWinds Which arrays are supported by SRM and SRM Profiler?
-
Do you have a screenshot of the event in LEM?
-
That is the latest version. If the issue is still happening on 2019.4.1 then you will want to reply back to the support ticket and ask them to re-open or keep it open for further investigation.

There is a little bit of info in the Asset Inventory screen in SAM and you can do some reporting off of that data:
-
My apologies, I misunderstood the question. There is currently not a way to adjust the text or other visual elements in the log viewer.
-
Yes exactly, you have a conflict with the user already being in the SAML group.
-
Thanks for the additional feedback on logs Steven... Totally understand that for those coming from the legacy side of things it is a bit frustrating that tagging moved into the paid product. In the long run we wanted to be able to extend and add functionality to the feature set that was in the legacy product. To do that we…

One more thing I might try is to change the "Number of past polling intervals to search for events" to something quite high like 10 or 12 just to see if there is some kind of timing issue in play here... If that doesn't help narrow it down, open a ticket with support to see if they can find the problem:
-
That would be a good candidate for gathering some diagnostics and opening a ticket with support. I am not aware of any known issues that would lead to your transactions ending up in that state so I don't have much in the way of suggestion other than letting the support team take a look at it with you and start some…

Yes, that is correct.

If the custom property was created to apply to applications then you have to go to Manage Application Monitors (under SAM Settings) and select the templates that are applied to a node that you want to configure the property for. You aren't seeing them where you are looking because those are node level CPs:
