Have you considered using agents? The firewall setup would be much easier for you as the agent uses specific ports: Poll devices with SolarWinds Orion agents SolarWinds Orion agent requirements

There is not one single table that has everything in it but perhaps NodesData might be a good start... What are you trying to accomplish specifically?
-
We don't have any current plans to do a direct integration into WAC at this time. What sort of workflow would you be looking for there? Obviously SAM or NPM can monitor the entities you describe "Disks, CPU, Memory" but I may be missing the point of your question.

The screen shot you posted is from the AppInsight for IIS template so that view is going to be specific to sites running on IIS. For your other platforms you are correct in choosing the out of the box SSL Cert Expiration template. However, as you have already seen, that template does not pull back all the data you are…

Yes, you can run the same transaction from any number of locations (players) but the players are not aware of each other and do not orchestrate execution in any way.

The video below might help. You can create accounts with an evaluation version, you don't have to purchase to create accounts. Adding a New User Account - Video - SolarWinds Worldwide, LLC. Help and Support

Just to clarify a little... Are you using AppInsight for IIS and then wanting to augment that with the additional template you created? Could you maybe share a screen shot of what you have so far? I have some ideas that might work but I want to be sure I understand what you have so far so I don't send you on a wild goose…

I believe what you are experiencing there is related to a known issue that we are currently working on and hope to have a fix for soon. If you have not done so already, please open a ticket so we can verify that is the case and associate your case with the work being done to address the issue.
-
You can also set a specific number of failed polls in the threshold section of the template itself:

I tried to replicate that behavior and could not do so... Could you open a ticket and ask the support team to have a look?
-
If you are on the latest build 2019.4.1 and still seeing this, you may want to open a ticket with support so we can investigate.
-
The reboot might help but I would also suggest updating to the latest bits as well (6.6 is a couple revisions behind). If neither of those clear up the problem I would suggest starting a ticket with support so they can investigate the issue.

Yes, NPM and NCM are designed to run on the same server. The SQL server as a best practice should be a separate server.

In addition to what cnorborg mentioned already, there is also this (brief) article that indicates Orion does not like spaces or double quotes: Invalid characters for SNMP password - SolarWinds Worldwide, LLC. Help and Support

Yes, they can be VMs as long as you follow the recommended specs in the admin guides for the modules you are installing. http://www.solarwinds.com/documentation/apm/docs/SAMAdminGuide.pdf

It doesn't look like we have that implemented currently. If I understand your question, you are essentially looking for the SDK equivalent of clicking "Play Now" in the Web UI?
-
I believe only screenshots of failures are maintained in order to keep DB size down.

There is no way to do that in SAM. CDR data is typically in the realm of our VNQM product. VNQM does not support Skype for Business as of today but there is a feature request you can vote on:

The data displayed in LEM is what was contained in the original event on the originating device / node. You may have to look at the source to see if there is a configuration to display the username instead of asterisks. LEM does not modify the data in any way other than to normalize the format.
-
Just to clarify are you trying to do this in a view limitation or in a single specific resource? Could you post some screen shots or examples of what you tried so we might be able to help diagnose?

It should not be limited to 13 lines. A shot in the dark here but live mode defaults to the last 10 minutes. Is it possible that there are only that many events in that time frame on your system?
-
There should not be any dependency for that service to start. You may want to open a ticket with support and ask them to troubleshoot that further.
-
It is possible to license more than 1000 but you will need to ping your sales rep and ask to have a quick call with a Sales Engineer. They will discuss your environment and goals with you to validate that the larger node count won't create problems. The big issue is events per second so provided your logs from all sources…

Alex, Curious about the WPM part... You were forced to update your WPM Player on one box? That shouldn't be the case. WPM Players are still officially supported on 2008 WPM 2.2.3 system requirements - SolarWinds Worldwide, LLC. Help and Support

I sent you an invite through a different channel... If that doesn't work ping me directly and we'll get you in there! Thanks!

You'll need to download both betas and install them one after the other on a clean machine. I believe you will want to install SAM beta first and then run the VMAN beta installer. Betas are not intended for production and are packed a little differently.

It is currently not possible to do that with Log Analyzer although it is something we are considering for future inclusion in the product. In the meantime, depending on the use case you might be able to use the log parser templates in Server & Application Monitor: There are two popular log parser templates Perl Based and…

mlcc2000 I let the appropriate team know about this... Hopefully should be resolved soon. Sorry for the trouble
