I am surprised how little new content I have to view on Youtube... I know my watching has gone way up when the algorithm starts pulling content from 3-4 years ago.

the benefit of working remote is the ability to work anywhere within Wifi, for me at least. I've spent "work days" at family and friends houses, coffee shops, and AirBnB's. Granted I'm a manager now so my technical requirements have dropped to "Need to make/see pretty pictures and spreadsheets" so that has helped in the…

Of the few good things to come from this for me is a return to full time WFH. I changed positions in the last year and my previous full time WFH time was reduced to a single day per week. The new company was hesitant on full time remote employees for FUD reasons involving productivity and inability to manage remote staff.…

With the push for automation on the network side as well as cloud intergration, I think the role of an SRE/NRE engineer will certainly start to blur. How we manage careers to support the infrastructure and architecture of those service layers will be a challenge for mgmt. though.

All great advice, I used to train dogs for police and personal protection, and I basically do all that with my own dog. Although being full time WFH with Covid has made the 4 legged members of this household happier than anything I've ever done!

Agreed, this is a hole in the monitoring capability. I've seen some articles on using VNQM for it, but have not been able to successfully implement it. So I got this working and it's awesome, shows me the number of active calls per SIP trunk.

Am I the only one not getting points awarded daily for answering questions correctly? I haven't seen the points added for this whole mission yet.

Great info, spreading the knowledge on home wifi in these times is certainly something we should all be doing.
