My father was a dairy farmer for 38 years(since childhood). We moved off the farm when I was 12 and he got into HVAC. He is the hardest working man I know. Had triple bypass heart surgery in November and wanted to go back to work the next month, though he probably shouldn't. Does he know what I do in IT? Of course not, why…

I feel like this is one of those ploys to source ideas from the crowd. lol So to help out, I like the idea of a Robots battle. Fiction or non. So many robots to do battle against each other. I will allow Transformers in this category, even though not true robotic AI. first round play-in : Roomba vs. Delivery Drone

Technically Binx is a person in cat form. He is not a pet.

How quickly can you lay down in a tent while camping? Depends if you are asking from tent setup, up until you have the cot and sleeping bag rolled out. Or if you are just asking how long it takes to unzip the sleeping bag and climb in.

The difference between an occupation that has no real pressing customers and one that never really has a day off. 24/7 on call over here, Including holidays. But, the life we choose. It has it's perks, like free Thwack swag....and friendly end users who call day/night/weekends. :-)

Mark Roberts wrote: Question 5 - while I do not want to give out answers to the questions for everyones benefit. The single click answer is not quite right. Not sure what you mean Mark, but everything looked good to me on the question. Verbatim from what I can tell. Are you looking at Page 11?

@jvbarnes - Attempted to do this and it said I selected puppies, which I did not. I got a red X. Question needs to be fixed and answers reset.

Only received 5 each as well for all of my votes.

Is today's question a precursor for a free Chewy robe? Don't tease us.

I find it is usually $$$ that keeps an organization from keeping up with change. Life cycles for some things can be reduced when new technology comes out and the hardware isn't capable of using them. Wireless for example, has been evolving so quickly lately the hardware is on a 5 year change out. When a company has 2000+…

Really want to get my hands on that Thwack divot tool. Seems like the new items went on a little prematurely. None of them are in stock and the description of the divot tool is the same as the Igloo cooler. FYI.

After two perfect months in a row, I have been defeated this month on question 13. #coveffe

Do we get a do-over? J/k I should have gotten it correct. Just misread the question I think.

Question 8 is misleading. If you ask for a specific answer, it should be in the hint. Or am I being too analytical of a simple contest.......... Add me to the list of complainers this week I guess.

I find that you have to "watch" the video, not just listen to it. Maybe you will "see" what I am mean.

Ah, I misunderstood. Got it now. Thank you. Thanks, Josh

Legos.....you could literally build GI Joes out of them. Legos will win this tourney!

@"yumdarling" I didn't notice. My apologies, I should have checked point history. I think before it was instantly after voting. Appreciate the follow up!

Knew it was somewhere! Looks like I did get them....end user error. Thank you.

No points for voting this year? Was that feature removed with the new platform for the site? Otherwise, I still enjoy it and thanks for giving us a little "extra" to get involved with during these difficult times. Could have brought ESPN in on it so they had something to broadcast. Also, Ned Stark for the win.

for me it was, yes. Also, the errors in 6 and 10, ignore the coding error. Spell it like it is supposed to be.

Gotta disagree with you on that one. 5 and 10 should be straight forward for any Thwacker that has been here for a while. But 3, 4, and 6 got me shaking my head. Have never done the D&D thing, if that is the clues. Heck even #1 if you search for features there is not a 1 word feature listed for HCO. This puzzle got me…

Cert has no value to myself or my employer. Now, if I were to change employment it would be a good look for me to have certs, like a CCNA or this one. Until that time comes I do not see the need for the effort or time. I am already in a solid job which relies on my experience and not what I can "test well" on for me to do…

I gave up.

Weird, because when I copy the link it gives me this URL - https://survey.alchemer.com/s3/8407524/August-2025-Mission-Accomplished. I have tried replacing the word August with September and it just fails.
