  • Yeah, Chromebooks are convenient, but what I am really holding out for are the dual OS devices with Android and Windows.   • Totally agree. I don't ever see the low-tech hard copy option ever completely going away. I sometimes prefer the look feel of an actual book.

  • This question can't easily be answered until you determine what exactly she will be using it for, now and in the near future. I know you mentioned mostly online stuff, but you should dig a little deeper and see what she does beyond that. Not having access to a certain application she needs or loves can be a deal breaker. *…
