I know this was over a year ago, but do you happen to know or remember what community poller that you used?

Agree, this would help out many of the clients I come across that want this feature/ability.

When you ran the Orion SNMP walk tool on the device, in the result file did it actually have a result or value on the OID line of the OID you are wanting to use or was it blank? If it was blank most likely it did not work, hence when you try to test it against your node you get an unsupported error.

This is what it should look like after you add it: How-to: Go to All Settings>Customize Menu Bars>Choose the menu bar you want to edit(Default in this case)>Drag and drop the item you want to add to the menu bar>Select Submit

I believe what ended up resolving my issue like this was installing the Hotfix exe that came in the install files.

Hi mitchh, as andrew asked. Could you possibly post the script that you ended up using? Thanks
-
Did you just use the script from the OP or some other modifications to get it to work? Thanks

What versions are you going from and then to? Have you migrated from a different version of SQL to a newer one? If so, what are those? Are you running the upgrade with local admin privileges ? Do you have an security or AV running on the machine?

Hi kange0010, See the following article, It says it happens in NPM 12.1, but I have seen it happen in 12.2 as well. It is just missing from the menu bars. This article shows how to re-add it: Cannot find Performance Analysis (PerfStack) in the menu - SolarWinds Worldwide, LLC. Help and Support

sunshine, Depending on what version you have, you may check and see if there are hotfixes out there. Just for v3.3 there are three hotfixes available that fix several things. User Device Tracker 3.3 Hotfix 1 - SolarWinds Worldwide, LLC. Help and Support User Device Tracker 3.3 Hotfix 2 - SolarWinds Worldwide, LLC. Help…

jdjones1992 What other details are you looking for? If SolarWinds is not showing the details you are looking for and there is and OID for it, it should be able to be created using the UnDP tool and adding to SolarWinds that way.

sashakey You could monitor the Windows event (account logon is 4624) for the servers in question. Then modify the SWQL in the default report "Windows Event Log Component Messages" as such: That should produce a report as such:

As everyone else is stating, APM is the SAM agent plugin. Back in the day SAM was called Application Performance Monitor aka APM, now it is Server & Application Monitor aka SAM.

ldoove You should be able to duplicate that alert and then once you do that you will be able to customize the trigger actions. Once there you can change the scope the alert triggers from and then choose from the options for F5 pools to filter against. After you are done with your new custom alert, you can disable the…

Hi beardedgeeknc, There is no way to natively change the number of gauges within a resource, you could probably figure out a way with some custom SQL/SWQL coding. But on your second question, you can change the name of the OID or the poller, you have to do it within the UnDP tool on the server. Just go edit the properties…

What versions are you coming from and how is your architecture laid out? For the most part upgrading is gravy, but time to time depending on the environment there can be some issues that arise.
-
Were you able to get your issue resolved?
-
rdpsa, Have you verified in the application template of the timeout setting? If not, trying modifying it there:

Did you ever find a resolution to this issue?
