Same here, just got some Ruckus Wireless devices and controllers. In 5.4 no connector so I'd really like to have a way to custom build a connector.

Rolling out Ruckus now.

The fix for me was to remove the account I was using in SEPM, add it back. that got the server and domain tabs back. I've now made the changes to SEPM but I'm still debugging freezing issues with 5.4.

Found this. http://www.experts-exchange.com/Software/Internet_Email/Anti-Virus/Symantec/Q_26917781.html Might be a DB corruption issue with SEPM

So, I'm frozen again in the web browser... Going to try the air platform now... Here is what top looks like on that VM. Java/trigeo user is consuming cpu.... So, in the AIR based Console I'm only getting alerts from my F5 tool...the servers/agent based alerts are not showing up at all. In the web browser console I still…

and this is all you get or log settings under Monitors.... I really don't want to call Symantec...that starts a 2-3 day ordeal.

This is all I get. I inherited this install so I'm not sure what options there were for management consoles. I can say I've only done previous versions of SEP so perhaps v12.1 only allows the web console...which really isn't a web console...it's a webpage that seems to RDP or something in the browser window... its very…

I used to with 5.3, use the Adobe AIR platform. I'll give that a try.... and report back..

Yeah, that link does list 12.1. So, when the guide says from the admin console, I assume they mean the web console of Endpoint Protection Manager. When I go to admin, I'm just not seeing anything about "servers" that could then be changed...

Just checked the VM's config to and I'm really not worried about the load averages b/c it's configured with 2 vCPUs. 8GB RAM 250GB Storage. It's consuming 4986 Mhz 8246MB Memory which 4259MB is active.

Console traffic stops, I can move around the web session I have open still, but user logons for example are no longer getting new entries. If I close that browser tab and reopen, it just never loads again. As for resources, it comes as an VM appliance with pre allocated resources..... so yeah. Looking at top though, it's…

So, following that guide... I was on SEP Manager, the central mgmt console... went to admin, and I'm not seeing a server entry. When i go the SEP client... I'm not seeing an Admin entry to even start.... Has this changed in SEP 12?

Which begs the question can we at least get to the shell and cron to schedule a reboot every night or so? We keep the web console open for a montior user at our monitoring IT station.
-
Still crashes about every 2 to 3 days.

I've got 35 nodes up so far, and I've had the web console hang but the server will still be running. It just keeps loading the web or console so not a crash. At that time I'm also not able to activate new nodes. So, I assume one of the LEM Server services hangs up. I then have to go into the vsphere console and reboot.…
