Ugh, baconing everything. That's a trend that needs to die before it kills us all.

Compliance is a four-letter word: Tool I've long heard people whinging and whining about rules and regulations and policies and procedures and the auditors that check up on them. Even I have sometimes (privately) thought auditors clueless, nosy and intrusive, and overly demanding of time and resources. But if we take the…

Etch a sketch was fun, but with the Oven you could make food or burn down the house!

I enjoyed both. Hmm.

Heck no! Captain John "Starkiller" Sheridan of the EAS Lexington!

Definitely the breaks! The mind can only absorb so much before it needs a pause to process, plus it gives the opportunity for less formal interaction between attendees and those necessary... "outside the room visits", let's call them.

You just need a nice MLT sandwich, where the mutton is nice and lean and the tomato is ripe. That'll bring you right back. If that doesn't do it, then you'll need a miracle. Preferably coated in chocolate.

Yes, Ms. Abbott is off on a new adventure.

Taylor Pork Roll, New Jersey's favorite native pork product, is far superior to mere bacon.

As one gets older focus tends to develop a soft blur. Those long distance lamps. Usually I see something like that and say "Really?" However, when one is married for 27 years one does like to find inventive new ways to say "I Love You", so if I can't win them that's on the gift list.

Got them all this time! I figured out #4. #13 had me baffled for a while, last one I got. Jumble #2, I should have figured that out faster!

It helped a little that I do these in our local newspaper. Even without the initial lettters, #1 set me off well.

I was pleased to meet some of them in Boston. Their presence isn't necessary for a successful event, but meeting the people you interact with electronically improves the interaction and relationship.

But will it run my dishwasher for me? Seriously, though, looking forward to the innovations!

At one of my previous employers that switch was much too close to the secure-door-opening big red button. Yes, after the unfortunate instance with the overnight security guard the dangerous button received a plastic cover. Not 100%, but it forced one to think a little before pressing the button.

Ah yes, the things I'd like to say to my younger selves, primarily about the (over)use of credit cards, the destination choices of certain vacations, and the evil of recording too many telly shows on the d*mn DVR.

Mostly I go by "Joe". Yes, I have a title and a role and a team/group name and a department, but they're never really used outside official paperwork.

What's an office?

Unless you are Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, you have an accent. It is her language, after all.

I'd say it's more like "Who's in your wallet?" Another example of having to trust someone else in order to do business in the modern economy. A whole industry has been born to monitor and protect our identities due to a combination of criminals and lazy/uncaring/incompetent security practices across a broad swath of…

I cannot remember the last time I had a Pop Tart. Do I really want one?

I can recommend against using Edge. I've had trouble using Edge with multiple applications, so I lay the issue at the feet of Microsoft. We've reported these issues to our internal OS support teams to be fed back to Microsoft. JoeP

When did you get a mascot?

The bobblehead! Everything else pales in comparison to being a bobblehead!
