I think it's something on the Orion server. Running Test-NetConnection to the port specified in the install (17778) succeeds with no issues. I've disabled the windows firewall on the orion server too. The Test-NetConnection shows nothing wrong but connection is till refused.

yes, but so do the ones that work. I also disabled windows firewall to test and get same error. The "connection forcibly closed" makes me think it's getting a connection but the Orion server is rejecting it for some reason.

BTW, I'm also in a trial/eval mode not yet licensed.

the ones erroring are DCs. But I did get it installed on a different DC. I have other agents working on the same network segment. I'm using the "agent initiated" communication option. These both have the same OS but I have other agents working on the same OS 2012 R2
