I find that sometimes the issue is that the scope which we have at around 8 days does not automatically purge when the time is up even though it should. Then, we get stale reservations causing a particular vlan scope to fill up. It seems strange but the quickest resolve is to reboot the affected VM and zap the scope…

I wish we could get to 4/5 training. If it is not convenient, it will be deemed unnecessary and get in the way of their being able to perform their duties. Even though, when something goes awry that the time required to correct it far exceeds the time upfront.

Yes, and I always used the argument. How much will it cost the business to not ensure working backups. Then, I usually got my budget If anyone has had the joys of being audited (SOC, etc). Backup and restore is a crucial item.

I wonder around the office and what do I find. I am the only with the NMS open. The others only open when they Need something. I am working on the training side to change that. Also, if nodes are not kept current, then it quickly falls apart. Good post!
