Today's question uses the same link as yesterday. Working on getting it updated. https://oriondemo.solarwinds.com/Orion/APM/ActiveDirectoryBlackBox/ActiveDirectoryApplicationDetails.aspx?NetObject=ABAA…

Snag a photo of replication summary widget. Feel free to blur our the server names if you need to.

I wanted to break down this question some, and how I attended the question to be answered and how I now see you could come up with two different answers. My attended answer was/is 3: Now, if you use the right-hand rail aka (inspector panel) and selected “Exchange: Application” you may see 2 or 3 servers listed. The reason…

SAM just went from RC to RTM today, so they pulled down the RC documentation. Working on finding a replacement link.

March 12th Questions. AKA BNC Connector question. The incorrect answer response was ALWAYS going to talk about BNC connectors not having anything to do with AD. I should have put the correct answer in the incorrect answer response, most of the incorrect answers do, but this one did not.

I reached out to Geroge.

Yea, I have a custom Alexa skill that uses google. So every time I said "Alexa ask Google...." she would timeout and says something like "I can access that skill". Didn't even think of trying to access music to see if that was affected.

Agree with the comments that a blade does populate a slot. Given the Orion demo, I was not trying to confuse people (didn't work out too well) since word "slots" does not appear on the page but "blades" do. I also agree that the image I sent that 4 of the slots are populated with blades, whether they are UP or have an OS…

Just read the question slowly and look at what the actual question is. If you start splitting hair, you will get yourself in trouble. The devil is in the details.
-
Ok, I would agree that up and populated could mean different things given specific criteria. In the demo link provided, which of the blades are up vs. populated? In the USC below, how many blades are populated? Trying to understand your POV.
-
OK, just curious on how you would define Up vs Populated?

jeremymayfield brad.white nowell After looking at the wording of the question for 11/18, we can see how it could be interpreted two different ways. We are going to make the question marked as correct for everyone that answered it. No need to go back and do anything. Sorry for the confusion Jared

Great job @"danielleh" @"KMSigma.SWI" and team :-)
-
Listen C3PO :-) Yes, everyone that answered the question on the 18th got it marked as correct even if it was answered incorrectly. Great, kid. Don't get cocky jared
-
Sorry about the misleading question. Dang, you guys are VERY thorough :-). I talked to wabbott and verified that there could be multiple correct answers. If it's any consolation, the original question intent was how many "current" recommendations are there. Jared
-
Yes, you are correct. It should read: Your VM transporter has done its job and headaches have been avoided. How many alerts will be resolved when a VM that is on host stp-esx-01.lab.tex is vMotioned? Working on getting the question updated. Thanks Jared

Orion needs to be installed on a server OS. We currently support up to 2012 R2.

What OS did you install the Orion Server/SQL Express on?
-
Are you referring to something like this? http://oriondemo.solarwinds.com/Orion/NetPerfMon/NodeDetails.aspx?NetObject=N%3a740&ViewID=454 You should not have to go to the "Environment" dashboard to see the AppStack flow from VMAN to SRM. Jared

Jonathan, It's a 2 part install. The appliance is a VHD file that needs to be imported into Hyper-V and configured to poll your environment. Then there is the Orion-Standalone-v2.1exe file that contains the Orion front end as well as a SQL Express backend. After Orion is installed it will ask you in integrate with the…
