I resolved the issue partially, as the hosts did not like the initial credentials I gave it. I used the proper creds this time and now the status of each host says "polling" however the icon color has not changed. I will let it go over night and see what I get in the morning.

Thank you very much. Enabling the windows server to poll for vcenter was the answer.
