Great example! Thank you!
-
I wanted to say "Thank you" for the articles, but you already said "you're welcome" so now I feel like I'm saying "Thank you" too late.

Agent in this case seems to be a help desk agent or person. I looked for other documentation to verify I was selecting the right answer... https://www.solarwinds.com/-/media/solarwinds/swdcv2/licensed-products/service-desk/resources/datasheets/service-desk-da…

I did some additional research and decided to take a change and submit, even with the information I gathered and what wasn't stated. I also got it wrong with a message that one of the options I selected IS part of both tools. I know it is, that is why I selected it! There wasn't any feedback as to why the other options I…

For the mission shortcut... it would be nice to have a link to where you can Start a SolarWinds Service Desk Trial. I saw a link in the first question hint. It is here if you would like it--Start a free trial of Service Desk from SolarWinds

How does it fly? It doesn't even have wings!

Reading the solution seems like common sense and you know what they say, "Common sense is not so common."
-
Many great articles again!

How many clicks does it take to get to a node? (There might be joke in there somewhere.) This is something I wish was more efficient as well. I think this is a great idea!

Why hasn't everyone voted for this!?!

Should we start taking bets on which will come first... Flying Cars, or the Thwack store re-opening?

I wonder how quickly quantum computers will become as common as current PCs. Or if they will forever be in the SuperComputer category.

Thanks Jfrazier for recommending the survey results. The survey asked for "main reasons" so this article stating "primary reason" was throwing me off.

I was surprised by what was not a feature of LA. No not that one. The other one.

I never new about the corp.com threat. It seems like I hear about threats after they are solved instead of while there is a threat. Ignorance is bliss?

Zero Trust is a concept I wasn't aware of so I appreciate this article as it will help me communicate with my security guys.

There were some basics that were common, times when there was high CPU, Memory, Disk Space, etc. The alert thresholds were not set properly, users contacting us before our monitoring tools contacted us.
-
The SQL article also stuck out to me. Information I didn't know I needed to know!
-
I loved those! I need to see if they are still being made.

A very relatable article!

Following this article fixed my issue -- https://support.solarwinds.com/SuccessCenter/s/article/Missing-IP-addresses-ARP-contained-in-VRF Specifically running this command on the devices -- snmp-server mib community-map (second_community_string) context (second vrf name)

BTW, adding more memory to the polling engines fixed my issue. Something I tried after I got a memory warning/error message on another component. Seems like RabbitMQ would crash first for weeks on end, but once another component failed with the same error I decided to throw hardware at the issue (properly size my servers)…

If you do get an answer from support @"ImNishat" , will you please post it here?

Thank you @"weston.hood" ! I was able to find my last diag file there!

I'm on 2023.4.1 and I'm having issues with RabbitMQ running out of memory and crashing. Which causes which node is active in the HA pool. Technical support suggested trying the rebuilding of the DB as you outlined, and also trying to repair SolarWinds in Programs and Applications. Neither has worked. Their next suggestion…

While I never got an answer from Technical Support, I took some actions that seem to have helped. I didn't have a preferred server set in each pool, so I set a preferred server. I also rebuilt SolarWinds (through Programs and Apps.) The next test was successful.

Thanks for the reply @"KMSigma.SWI". When trying your suggested code I get this error message-- Set-SwisObject : The column "EffectiveCategory" cannot be modified because it is either a computed column or is the result of a UNION operator. At .\Add-HCONode.ps1:61 char:2 + Set-SwisObject -SwisConnection $SwisConnection -Uri…

@"makecrazy" Do you still need help with this? There are probably a few ways to do this, but it depends on how the report needs to be viewed, via a web page, or if writing the output to a file would be fine. I don't know how to do it historically. You might be able to use the NPM Event log but that would be very complex in…
