I'd like to second the request for enhancements to Ubiquiti monitoring. Would love to get user counts for APs, throughput numbers, etc.

I totally agree. A portable version would be super helpful for diagnosing issues.

I'm not sure I have a preference. It's definitely easier to deploy a virtual appliance, since all the setup work is done for you, but it isn't that hard to provision a new server and install Windows on it. Either way, we really only do virtual machines at this point.

Awesome! Seems to work like a charm!

I think I missed something. Are these new charts in 10.3? How would I go about enabling them?

Looking forward to the network interface monitoring! That's the only thing I wish was still present after changing over my servers!

Also, apparently the tool thinks that https:// URLs are invalid. I was under the impression that that was Microsoft's recommended configuration.

Yes and yes.

You might be right. Guess there isn't a way to fix it for now then.

Might have spoken too soon. One of the two servers is fine, but the other has gone back to going Unknown every few hours. Restarting the Remote Registry service still brings it back. Anything else I should try?

Looks like this solved the issue. Thanks!

Thanks! Just got the hotfix installed, and I'll keep an eye on it for a couple days.

If you are asking how to use MySQL server as the back end database for SolarWinds products, then I don't believe it's possible. As far as I know from the documentation, only Microsoft SQL Server is supported. If the problem is the licensing, then you can download SQL Server Express (it's free).

Our upgrade went smoothly, though we were already on NPM 10.2.2 and SAM 5.0.1. The SAM upgrade has a lot of great new features, especially the hardware monitoring piece. I had been doing it through custom pollers, but the built in stuff is much nicer.

Overhaul the web interface! With lots of monitors being widescreen and super high resolution now, it would be great to be able to show more than three columns on any given display page.

So, I recently spent a couple of days banging my head against the wall on this one. In the end, when I created the poller I gave it a name other than the default (it defaulted to digital-sen-2-2) and then the formula seemed to work like a charm. I used the name ExternalTemp2. I'm wondering if there is a bug in the UnDP…
