I have not been a part of the beta testing or UX feedback for this version. I'm not sure I'd have much more feedback to give.

meech Why is there so much empty (wasted) space between the bottom of the navigation and the top of the page content? In the second screenshot (orion2.png) that blank space is actually taller than the navigation bar. In the third and fourth screenshots (orion[34].png) it is literally saving no space over the old design.

Greetings from 2018 and a newer version of the LEM where this is STILL a problem. Has anyone found a resolution? For now I migrated our VM over to our faster cluster and gave it 8 3.2GHz CPUs and 64GB of RAM just to see if that might help.

Yours is the closest to a correct answer. I renamed one of our AD sites and the nodes in that site showed up with the new site name. The rest of your post might explain why that detail is missing from some WMI nodes as well.

Sorry to revive a long dead thread... @kjspgd Did you have to do anything special to get the URL Rewrite module to work? SolarWinds / Orion (latest versions available) seems to be completely bypassing it on my server. (Windows 2012 R2 / IIS 8.5)

In my case, all the nodes in question are being polled with WMI. The location just doesn't populate for some nodes.

For the servers that show a location that (AD Site Name) is the location they are reporting. It doesn't explain why one server has a location while another doesn't. For example, I have two servers that I deployed into the same vCenter from the same template, yet one shows a location and the other does not. The only other…

I hate to be another "me too!", but I also have a few servers (Win 2012 and 2012 R2) that do not report any location in NPM.
