  • Magic Man - We've upgraded to 8.5 and no longer have the problem, sorta. We are now polling. However, some devices do not poll. Specifically we are polling for temp on Cisco 3750 switches. All are configured with the same SNMP communities. However some poll and some don't. So, new issue to overcome.
  • Thanks, considering the problems I've seen others having with 8.5 I believe I'll apply the hotfix for 8.1 first.

Below is the total sum of what has been collected since 9/28/07.…

  • Which table(s) should I check?
  • We are writing to an external SQL DB. No log file on Orion server.
  • Thanks Mark, I have already set up the view. Also, I have already viewed the presentation you supplied. I did those before before posting to the forum. To clarify, I recieve values via the "Custom MIB Poller" wizard via the "Test" button. While the output to the web interface in "Node Details" does display the custom…
  • We have seen a similar problem and opened a ticket with support. They recommending adjusting the polling time from 5 to 4 minutes. This did not help. No further direction as of yet.
  • That could be a long list Josh. Network Appliance Filers - Processor, Interface, Disk, etc Network Appliance (now Blue Coat) NetCache, Cache Stats, Interface stats, etc Thats just a couple. Jeff
