We use a USB GSM Modem.

I think you will need NCM for this. www.solarwinds.com/.../

Have you looked at modifying what inventory information we're trying to collect? It might be worth testing on those devices with just one set of inventory data.
-
Did you update the FSDB server for NTA too? Have you opened a ticket with our Support team yet?
-
I get the same! I put a case in with SW today and have heard nothing. Orion is still down and I'm waiting to hear back. I'll post as soon as I hear something.

Wireless Heat Maps are only supported with Cisco WLCs today. This would be a good feature request if you want to create an idea for it. Jeff

Can you please open a ticket with Support so we can start to dig into this issue?

1. NPM, NTA, SAM, IPAM, WPM, UDT & NCM should all be installed on a single server (virtual or physical is fine). 2. Log & Event Manager & Virtualization Manager are both virtual appliances (HyperV or VMWare). 3. You can use your SQL Server for the Orion products and WHD as the backend database. 4. Do you have the license…

My NTA summary page takes less than 5 seconds to load. We aren't running on a VM so I'm not sure if that has something to do with it or not.

This might help. http://www.solarwinds.com/documentation/Orion/docs/OriondbBestPractices.pdf

I will check with the Engineering team on this one, but I'm guessing we aren't allowing Port 0 as it isn't normally assigned to applications. I do believe that sometimes it's used for malicious activity--is that what you have going on here or do you have it assigned to an actually application?

Check this out and see if it helps;

Would there be a DB at each of the 3 sites?
-
You probably need to specify what view(s) the group has access to. readview Assumed to be every object belonging to the Internet (1.3.6.1) OID space, unless the user uses the read option to override this state. Can you provide us the netflow configuration from your router?
-
Yes, you can monitor multiple domains with ARM.
-
Honestly your DB does most of the work. I've not seen out Pollers or main Orion box use hardly any resources and we have 10,000 elements on each. If I was in your situation I would upgrade the DB all they way!
-
Works fine for me.
-
Yes this is possible using NotePage Pro & a GSM modem. We do the same thing with Orion.
-
Did you ever hear anything about this problem? I'm seeing the same problem.
-
You can browse through the MIB DB by going to the Universal Device Poller on the Orion server.
-
Don, I sent you an email to request another meeting with Cisco. Can we jump on a call?
-
You could add something with this logic to your current alert; Vendor not equal to Dragonfly. This would alert you on any nodes that are down except the ones that are equal to that vendor (or other properties).
-
You can add a Top XXX resource that has a filter when you click the Edit button. The just filter for these devices.
-
Looks like this is a bug, we will track this on our end and see if we can get it corrected.
-
Have you looked at the Network Atlas tool? It is used to create maps for your environment. You can also use the 'Connect Now' feature to automatically draw links of connected devices.
-
What happens if you change the "If a match is found in a polling period, component is:' setting?
-
Should be a button at the top of the page.
