Has anyone on this thread tested the new SSH feature in the SAM beta? ding

I decided to use SNMP Traps to let me know when an interface became error disabled. I still wouldn't mind having a report to run.
-
I've made some changes that appear to be helping. I removed the "./" and "ZONE1-WIRELESS" from the command line field. The Script body now looks like this; psql -h localhost -U postgres controlsmartdb -f /root/NACStats/NACqueries/ZONE1-WIRELESS.sql | grep -v 'count' | grep -v '-' | grep -v 'row'| grep -v "^$" | awk…

I spoke with my team and this isn't possible today, but as mentioned above I will add it as a feature request. Thanks, Jeff
-
Let me check with the Engineering team to see if we have a work around to help with this. If not I will log it as a usability enhancement for NCM.

What version of SNMP are you using?
-
UDT can run standalone or as a module to NPM. If it is running as a module it will share the same database as NPM.
-
We are running it on two deployments and everything has been very smooth. Can't say much about the ESX stuff since we don't currently monitor that stuff. Some nice new features and improvements.

This is something we've researched in the past and are looking at more and more as industrial IoT continues to grow. We don't currently support OPC in our products. I know there are some OPC/SNMP proxies that are available, have you looked into any of those? I'm adding one of our Engineers who has investigated OPC and…

Because the average between any two points was 100%?!?

How about using psexec to execute the ConfigAutoDownload application remotely?
-
Kevin, I went from 9.1 SP1 to SP2 without any snags. Everything seems to be working fine for me since the upgarde.
-
Dan, Would it be possible to get the Orion SDK package? Thanks, Jeff
-
You should be able to expand the component that is failing and make changes. I would check that the instance is correct.

James, What version of NXOS are you running on your 5K? Typically the Nexus 5K doesn't support the required MIBs that UDT polls unless you're running 5.0(3). If you're running any 7K Nexus devices you'll need 5.1(3). Hope this helps. Jeff

Wayne, Can you verify that you have access to the report folder under the settings in the web console? Jeff
-
NPM allows for 15 second status polling and 1 minute statistical polling. If you need more frequent statistical polling I'd recommend the Engineers Toolset.
-
This document; http://www.solarwinds.com/documentation/Orion/docs/MovingYourOrionNPMDatabase.pdf should help.

I think the the things you want to consider are how you are going to setup your RAID, how space do you need, and how much memory do you need. Are you running just Orion? How about Netflow? Either way, if possible I would run a RAID 1 for your OS, another RAID 1 for the db log files and then a RAID 10 for the actual DB. I…

Did you select "interface" from the drop down box while setting up the trigger condition?
-
Can you run the report to show what NCM thinks in the conflict? Sometimes you need to setup a few ignore rules.
-
We put ours in our DC.
-
Larry, What do you have the UDT polling set at? That link will work if you install the local help files. They should have been included within the .zip download. Jeff
-
Do you have these open? Application Ports 161/SNMP and 443/SNMP. VMware ESX/ESXi Servers are polled on 443. 17777/TCP open for Orion module traffic 17778/ HTTPS open to access the SolarWinds Information Service API

Do you have the DPA integration in your Orion environment?
