That could still be the case. Have you noticed any differences in the interface configs for devices that are working and ones that are not? I noticed that all of the devices I can not monitor do not have the rmon monitor command on them and the ones that I can do. At this point I'm not just thinking outside the box I'm…

I talked with VIASAT about the issue about an hour ago and the settings I have on the KG250 are correct and we even played with the ICMP packet size. One thing I realized though is that this connection is tunneled (encryption device) across a juniper SSG that is tunneled in through an ASA. Soooo I looked on my ASA and sure…

I ran a NAM capture on both ends and what I found is that even though it was an icmp ping only it was still asking for its netbios name because of a polling setting under settings>polling settings>perform reverse dns lookup (uncheck) I also…

Did you ever resolve this issue? I have the exact same problem with about 10 taclane encryptors. I can ping the devices from my server (2k8 r2) and the initial ping from Orion works then it times out. I have nothing in my logs indicating an ACL blocking it. Plus! the fact that I can ping it from my server?????
