  • bourlis, Thanks for the reply. The alerts I am working with involve Nodes. I have one alert, Windows Node in Critical State, that I created during the alerts training module online. This one works! So now I'm working on Node is in a Warning or Critical State. I have copied the To: address AND the message body directly from…
  • Sorry for the delayed response. Sort of. I would like a widget that displays a single node along with all resources AND the resource alert status. I would probably use a list of sites to drill down to the nodes, which would then drill down to specific nodes and resources. Does this make sense?
  • Thanks brscott. I tried putting this code into a modern dashboard using a table widget, but the validation fails. It doesn't like 'orion' in the select clause. I replaced your URL with mine but no change. Any thoughts on this? Thanks, Joe
  • Jere557, thanks. The links to the docs were very helpful. Using SWQL Studio I was able to follow along, and I found some Node and Resource tables and verbs. Unfortunately this is a bit above my programming level. Not sure I'll be able to take this further without help from others. (Your code did not work, errored out on an…
  • Thanks Bourlis. Unfortunately, this is not what I'm looking for. What I would like to have is a table with a list of all servers, perhaps sorted by site but maybe not. If I click on a site, it gives me a table with the server name and ALL monitored resources and their status. Something like: Server1 Physical Memory - Green…
  • Chad, it did indeed have 'edit' in the URL. Great catch! I've edited the link and now things are good. Thanks!!
  • I've done all this. I've created other dashboards and have not had this problem. That's what is curious.
  • Deltona, The Virtual Machine Details widget does not provide any more information that the others. I have confirmed that the local resources such as physical and virtual memory, local drives, etc. are selected. But nothing like that is listed.
  • Bourlis, thanks for continuing the conversation. I'll try to explain my predicament a bit clearer, and hopefully you can tell me what I'm missing. This morning there was an alert that a "Node is Down": So I click on the object that triggered this alert, which takes me to the Node Details page. Under 'Root Cause of…
  • Bourlis, thanks for the reply. This makes a bit of sense from what I'm seeing in the summary views. I guess my original question remains though: how do I create a view of a node that shows ALL alerts for the node? Or perhaps a view that shows all monitored devices/resources for that node and the current status. That would…
  • Thanks for the response on this. I added your widget to the standard Nod Details page, and clicking on the link in your widget just brings me back to that same page. I was hoping for something that highlighted "CPU temp" or "Disk Utilization" or similar that would bring to the top what the trigger was.
  • SteveK, given the endorsement or your code by KMSigma I would really like to give this a try. You have several custom properties related to both email and responsible teams. In my environment (so far) I only have a custom property for 'system_owner', which is an email address. Is there a way I could simplify your code to…
  • Anyone? I feel like this is a stupid question but I'm not seeing the answer.

  • Thanks Jeff. As far as I can tell we're nowhere close to 12,000 elements. We have a total of 329 nodes, although I don't know how to show the actual elements. I read the documentation on this where it was recommended to add another polling engine. Does this mean another server to handle the polling agents? Or is it simply…
  • Thanks for the response. These machines were just migrated from Hyper-V to VMWare so that could likely be the case!
  • Thank you. I'm working on that now and will see how far I get!
  • Thank you for pointing that out. Stupid user error. I've updated the original post.
  • Is what I'm trying to do that complicated? Or maybe not possible?
  • Thanks for the great response. I've installed the three Site Summary dashboards he built and they are nice starting point!
  • Anyone?
