Okay, the problem is with having a variable in the html code. I'm using Custom HTML resource to display the gauges. I have in the HTML: <code> <img src="/NetPerfMon/Gauge.asp?Style=LED…

I see that option in the alert creation within NPM, but not one in the Trap View alert creation.

Yes to both. I've opened a ticket with support on this issue and they said they will open a bug. The case is #17100. I have not heard back from support in a couple of weeks.

Nope. I still can not add a SQL server in the Database Manager without SA privileges.
-
But the Switch Port Mapper application does not display the VLAN the interface is in.
-
We've improved this issue in Orion 8.5, which is due in a few weeks. I've upgraded to 8.5 and I still can not use the Database Manager without having SA rights on the database server.

Without changing anything, the past couple of days the report has been emailed to me, not the login page. Interesting that it seems to be working.

Huh, so what is higher than unlimited?

2. I know on Solaris systems if you change the snmpd.conf file you have to restart the service by /etc/rc3.d/S76snmpdx stop and then start. Another gotcha is that you can have only 5 hosts listed per managers keyword.

When is 8.5 being released?
-
Nope, flash is no problem for us.

I've been having the same problem - alerting off of a trap type. I have a support case open with SolarWinds, but they have not been able to solve the problem yet. If they give me a solution I'll post it.

Or you can use: VolumeType Like '%Disk%'

HotFix 2 fixed the run-away dllhost.exe process.

Create a map for each floor with the devices. On the main map drag the floor map (from the left hand side there is a listing of all your maps).

Yeah I'd second the question about what device ths is. I've seen Linux/Unix systems have CPU util being reported wrong. But that is the nature of SNMP and Linux. In fact all my Linux systems are constantly at 34% util reported through SNMP. Now if SolarWinds could fix that...

Ugh, never mind. You put something right in front of them and they don't see it!

We found this issue in the Orion training class. It is the little "T" icon in the upper part or the page when you are viewing the node details. I think this was submitted as a bug fix, but I can't look those up.
