@"acandell" There is not an arrow icon that matches those you have represented in the map, but those of course are not icons rather another type of connection. You could create a manual dependency to those items or make sure there isn't something missing in between them where expected a connection. By the default icons,…

@"kumar07" I tested this in a couple different labs (2019.2 & 2019.4) and was unable to reproduce. What version are you running? You may need to grab diagnostics and open a support case.
-
I hope that means you like the features that you reviewed in the Beta, but unfortunately we cannot deliver those prior to the RTM release.
-
@"mark.johnson-TEN" the ingress/ egress toggle is there for you when you only have one side of the link. It is to allow you to use the one side but simulate it as if you have both ends. If you have a single tunnel between the two sites, you should just be able to create a single connection. A "worst state" will always be…
-
@"mark.johnson-TEN" Just saw the last comment - I like that example too! If these directly correlate to an endpoint, you have many more options.
-
@"mark.johnson-TEN" I see - So the cloud and managed devices are connected as desired and you don't have details on the MPLS Nodes? So you don't have an interface that you can connect back to the cloud from the other end, correct? That is tough, and btw, once you connect a node to an image, they exist on the same layer so…
-
very difficult to read anything in that second screenshot. Are you able to blow up the image a bit?
-
@"hsh" - there is not a way to specify whether particular metrics show up in the pill or not at this point. Would you be able to share an example map if not here, directly with me so I can be sure to share with our internal team?
-
@"stuartd" - hopefully I can provide some insight to your questions. Two Questions: * I don't recall seeing it mentioned, but do all these changes also mean we can assign a specific map to a specific group, which apart from all the layout functions is probably my number one need? JB - This has not changed in the 2020…
-
@"jakegevans" - I am sorry this didn't work out for you. Did you happen to run the script and attempt the pre-stage at which point you saw this issue and decided to manually push through? Do you have any old support cases I can reference or a new one where you shared diagnostics? In order to provide assistance we would…

@"bps" your statement is better suited for the NCM forum and perhaps the RC Post: https://thwack.solarwinds.com/t5/NCM-Documents/Introducing-the-NCM-2020-2-Release-Candidate/ta-p/590304
-
@"hjarriell" If you ran the script it pulls the flag for you to install the 2020.2 RC. If you do not wish to upgrade to the RC, technically you should be able to run the RemoveRCStage file included in the script download, and use the Pre-Stage to upgrade to 2019.4. Once we GA, you will have the option to upgrade to 2020.2,…
-
@"darryld" sorry for the late reply. There is not a way to single out Layer 3 vs Layer 2 for now. Great idea however, and something we hope makes it into the next release. Here is a post on the 2020.2 release: An Orion Map to Success!
-
@"sjanssen" - Have you attempted to use NetPath by chance? That might be an option worth testing out as you would be able to alert based on a change to the path itself.

@"abdullah.khalid" wrote:EOC is meant to provide comprehensive view of the instances in distributed deployment but it is a half developed product. It has various limitations that one must be aware off. Various limitations found: 1. Top 10 Interfaces by Percent Utilization widget is missing, there will be other widgets…

@"Seashore" - Too comments as I missed one of your questions. You should be able to use this process as far back as 2019.2 versions of the platform. Thank you for sharing your support case and the details about your environment. I will make sure this gets to our Dev team to investigate.
-
@"tkercher" - Thank you very much for the write up and great detail about your experience in working with support.
-
Currently the "NetPath Endpoint Service on a Probe" is not an available entity for Orion Maps. This is something we are hoping to improve upon in the future. For now the only option would be to include the Service.
-
I agree @"mesverrum"! I would be curious what everyone would want to see next after Custom Property Management. Please share feedback below or in the form of Feature Requests!
-
@"mjperkins" - this will not be a great option for offline environments for the time being. Technically you could upgrade the main polling engine and then pre-stage with the new features, but if your main polling engine is updated, then you would need to upgrade the rest of your scalability engines too, otherwise they…
-
@"tkercher" Were you able to attempt the steps I shared? I also just spoke with Support and reviewed the case where they show attempts at trying to reach you as well as Nicholas D. It appears calls were being forwarded to a Voicemail system and they sent a follow up email. If you need to share a different method of contact…
-
@"tkercher" We should be getting someone to reach out and sync with our Dev team. At first glance it appears like it seems like you have one APE still on 2019.4 and its telling you it can't move forward because there is already an upgrade in progress. You may try forcing that to stop and try again. Ensure that you have…
-
@"tkercher" Whats the support case number - ill get it escalated. You were upgrading to the RC correct?
-
This is certainly an interesting topic to discuss. I am curious, if you were to leverage Groups, a dynamic map is created for you in the tab's/ sub-views and kept up to date based on that group membership. Does this work for you? I am curious why or why not...
-
@"mjperkins" You are correct! 2020.2 did go GA this morning. The ability to pre-stage for offline environments is still something we are working on, so not available as of today.
-
@"rodolfomanrique" As promised the Release Candidates are now available. This includes some major updates to the install/ upgrade process and significant improvements to the configuration wizard! Check out the following post for more details! ORION PLATFORM - 2020.2 RELEASE CANDIDATE - A GATEWAY TO YOUR FASTEST UPGRADE…
-
@"JJRT" The latest version of Orion Maps would really make this possible. Check out this post that describes how to use custom icons which can of course be 3 dimensional if you wish. ORION PLATFORM - 2020.2 RELEASE CANDIDATE - AN ORION MAP TO SUCCESS!
-
@"Seashore" Will this be made available for offline installations as well? That is a great question! The answer at the moment is no. However this is something we are working on and hope to deliver sooner than later. Stay tuned!
-
@"tmcurry" can you share the support case number please? We can investigate.
-
@"Seashore" You were on the right track. What you can do is take your Edge Device/ Internal Router, select your interface, and then on the side where you have connected something else like an image of a cloud for example, I recommend searching for the same device, select the same interface, but flip it to ingress to…
