Winner! You are correct, I opened a ticket and (was pleasently suprised) talked (yes, talked) to a suport engineer who was very helpful and explained basically what you discovered. But there is light at the end of the tunnel..... "I got with my senior tech and he explained that our Alerting Engine is not designed to…

All my UPS Pollers are Raw (one of them Battery Runtime is a Transform) As I understand it (and someone help me on this) Raw is a point in time value (Numeric or text) ie. Voltage Counter is a count over time ie. Cumuletive CRC errors since reboot Rate is quanity over unit time ie. MB per minute Try changing your pollers…

That's pretty nice but wouldn't that give you processor free %? We still need to invert it. JB

Any update on this? we are seeing incorrect cpu percetages on 75% of our linux boxes. the oid 1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.11.53.0 is not a percentage it is actual time, how can we use the to calculate a percent of processor time. JB

Seems like your attempting the same kind of suppression I was...

True, but you have to view them one at a time (Community@vlan#) we need one view with all ports (Up or Down) and what Vlan they're in. Jim

Well I'll give it a try but I don't want everyone who has access to a node details view to be able to poll on demand. It should be limited to those who have node management rights. JB

Because there are the possibility of multiple VPN tunnels, the three digits would indicate which one, this requires the GET TABLE functionallity which is not supported in 8.1 and from some other threads, wont be in 8.5 either, maybe 9.0? I really would like GET TABLE to monitor my servers (Disks, Logicial partitions,…

Look here..... I use 50 deg. C in my alert, you can check the threshold on the server's Management Hompage (each server model has different defaut values) and adjust accordingly. JB

You would need to change the name of the drive in System Manager and delete the serial number. and the magic code: Currently Used ${SQL:Select round((VolumeSpaceUsed / 1024 / 1024 / 1024),1) from Volumes WHERE VolumeID='${VolumeID}'} GB JB

Not sure if I can help, but we had a similar problem. I was trying to replace the Domain Account with a local computer account and the job looked like it would run but no report was sent. Then it dawned on me, I had not actually logged in to the server with the local account. After I logged in to the server with the local…
