I still require the ability to monitor IPSec VPN tunnels on Ciscos flagship mainstream firewalls without having to manually build all my own polling and monitoring. The ASAs are able to do this no problem, FTDs are ASA code with very slight modifications to commands and prompts. Please consider resolving this.

I worked with support and was able to resolve the issue. The problem is in the device template script, for the "show" command show is spelled with a capital S. FTD firewalls dont like capitalized letters in commands and it fails because of that. As soon as we fixed the capital S, i was able to download the configs again.…

Were you ever able to resolve this?

Thanks for the response. Prior to trying your solution I upgraded to 2020.2 and this appears to have resolved the issue. I can now see muted interfaces on Cisco switch stacks.

Ive made feature requests, ive talked to account reps for years about getting proper FTD monitoring on par with ASAs and Ive made feature requests. It just doesnt go anywhere and the sad part is, it should literally be a simple few code corrections to get it…

I would like to add to @"holleyc77" comment and agree that the Cisco 2100 series is a much needed feature. We have at the very best basic monitoring of these firewalls, everything else needs to be custom made. Major missing aspects -IPSec VPN Tunnel Monitor -SSL VPN Tunnel Monitoring -Hardware Status Monitoring -Failover…

Anyway to update this to the latest release? When I try to run a custom query using this it just reports back "There was an error processing the request.".
