Levels doesn't work for me, because if it is a PC ticket he might want to assign to 1 of 3 people. I created a custom field, with the tech listed as single choice. Then created a rule for each tech -- if that custom field equals that tech, assign to him. Thanks.

Have you considered polling the user community to see what updates they feel would be most impactful?
-
Are you using Office 365 or Microsoft 365? We ran into this with particular users and their Remote Routing (or TargetAddress) was incorrect. So the mail server didn't know how to deliver it.
-
Agreed -- we had to update our AD connectors.
-
What kind of email authentication are you using?
-
Very important change!
-
Is there a way to back out of this if it fails? My concern is making this change, saving it and then not being able to authenticate in to make the changes.

Maybe someday they will release new versions without old bugs. One can hope. Seems like every version has something. Their code control must be horrible.
-
Did they respond yet?
-
Sorry - I am not sure what to tell you here. The instructions worked for me so I don't have any experience troubleshooting this.

Is 12.7.7 still functioning well for everyone?
-
Reporting stinks in WehHD -- you may also consider PowerBI. I have seen conversations about a few people using it successfully. When I have time I plan to investigate that futher.
-
Thank you.
-
Does anyone know if this was fixed in the latest 12.7.5 download (.102 from May)?
-
That would mean there is actually a plan for this product. LOL
-
Thanks for updating us Scott. I won't want to upgrade until this is fixed. It would be a nightmare for us. Crazy they introduce this bug and can't resolve in 3 hotfixes. I am starting to fade into the crowd that is inpatient with the lack of any progress on this product.
-
Amazing.
-
No - what is your mail setup in WebHD.
-
Implementing a sort on these fields (a long list of the fields names being another) is a logical thing to do that seemingly all other software packages do.

Question was pertaining to whitelisting devices and your response was: "We don't. We use UDT to match AD information to client devices so our netflow data has usernames tied to it" It sounded like to me that instead of whitelisting workstation MAC addresses, that you some how allow AD to reconcile all that. We want to…
-
Hey @"nickzourdos" , Can you expound upon this solution? Or state point me to this in the manual? I just recently connected my AD controllers so I am getting login information. It would be *WONDERFUL* if I could stop whitelisting workstation MAC addresses. Thank you!!
-
How do you identify unknown devices if you don't have a whitelist of approved devices?
-
Gheez -- I just got the same thing today. Our daemon keeps crashing and we have to stop and restart WHD services. Has anyone tried to roll-back? I am wondering if I install 12.6 on a new server if I can use my existing SQL databases?
-
you are correct. I confirmed with Support. I am not sure what the value of the "new MAC address" alert is?? I will stick with using the Rogue alert.
-
Good questions. Did you ever get an answer on these?
-
How effective do you find this method? Our Dell Laptops with docking stations have at least 4 MAC addresses and by default create new ones. We are about ready to trash UDT because we are finding the whitelist nearly impossible.
