While we've certainly built out our own employee portal, there's definitely room for improvement, and I would really be interested in seeing other layouts / design concepts. No doubt others in the community found just the right formula...

Looks like we're running into the same thing. Should there be permissions set for the Requester to receive updates / notifications back within the app?

With no solution in sight, I have now created a new pair of categories: "IT Software" and "IT Hardware." I populated both with essentially the same sub-categories as our original "Software" and "Hardware" categories, and these work as expected.

I was just watching the Quick Byte, "SolarWinds Service Desk – MS Teams Integration," and it shows the app prompting for a sub-category. When I select a category, I then get messages like "There is no sub-category available."
