  • I ran a backup that grabbed both the startup and running config and it seems to be recording correctly. I'll let it run and report back with any problems. -Jason
  • I had problems with Orion SP1 and adding a node feature was broken after NCM installation. But that gave me a good excuse to upgrade to SP2. After that upgrade the add a node feature was fixed.
  • I did the refresh as well and still have the same image. I have reported my bug as well. After rereading the thread the only difference I have from Fluxeon is that I did not reset my baseline. I don't think I need to yet as that we have only touched about 100 of our 940 devices and I'm still getting the 99% conflict error…
  • sedmo, I'm not a SQL programmer, but I was able to copy and past your query straight into the MS SQL Server and both queries worked like a charm. All of my nodes are updated! Thanks! -Jason
  • Hi Mav, Yes, I did see the articles you mentioned. I just didn't know if there was another way to poll that information. I can see the DHCP server information in the running-config. Just the "show ip dhcp pool" command is not available on the 3550 and 3750 switches.
  • I too have the same issue with unrouted vlans in our Cisco 6509's. I get 127% and 167% on transmit and recieved under top ten untilization interfaces.
  • I did get prompted for the Orion NCM Configuration Wizard and that ran. I did not get prompted for the Orion NPM Configuration Wizard. I went ahead and ran both again this morning and I still have the same issue with adding a new node through the website. -Jason
  • As a followup I did try the command "sh ip dhcp pool". That command is not available. Only the ones listed below. sh ip dhcp ? binding DHCP address bindings conflict DHCP address conflicts database DHCP database agents import Show Imported Parameters relay Miscellaneous DHCP relay information server Miscellaneous DHCP…
  • Hi Chris, We are also seeing a high number of conflicts. We have 940 devices and about 100 have baseline vs running configs conflicts which seems about right since we are updating configs today from yesterday, when we ran the baseline. And we have 800 or so devices we haven't touched. So it seems that the tables are…
  • There are 2 ports on the back of the Cisco 3750's. Depending on the configuration you have the 3750's for redundancy of a failed interconnected cable depends on which stack port may go down. http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/switches/lan/catalyst3750/software/release/12.1_14_ea1/configuration/guide/swstack.html Ultimately…
  • Yes, NCM is installed and working perfectly on the server. I can't connect through the website. I'll open a ticket.
  • Hi Chris, Yeah that would have been a great idea, but all of my nodes are in the "Imported" node group. I should have renamed the group once I did the first import.
  • I believe you might be right in that they are independent upon devices. OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.5.1.9.3.1.3 Works with 3750s. Now to find 4948's.
  • So you are saying this is an upload of the startup configuration and not a merge of the running configuration and then a save? It sounds like its an upload to running config and save with a write to NVRAM. I'm looking for a replacement of the startup configuration file with a completely new configuration.
  • Mav, I have just upgraded IOS code on some 3550's we have that run DHCP servers. Cisco IOS Software, C3550 Software (C3550-IPBASEK9-M), Version 12.2(44)SE6, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1) I still recieve this error: Command Failed Dhcp Server scanning failed with error:Pools data processing with error 'Invalid input detected' at…
  • Hi dm5253, That works! Thanks! Luckily I only have a few switches that I need to convert using this method. Anyone know of a way if I had to update say 900 nodes? :) -Jason
  • Orion v9.0 SP1. I did not rerun the Orion NPM configuration wizard shall I do that?
  • That worked. It just took forever to delete. I could only delete 2,000 nodes at a time. After about 2 days. I was able to get it to delete. I just had to take my time with it and not rush IE to update. Thanks! -Jason
  • I've already been there. There isn't a link for v9.1. These are the options I have. Find the most recent updates to your SolarWinds network management products below: * Orion NCM v5 - Service Pack 1 * Orion VoIP - Service Pack 3 * Application Performance Monitor v2.0 - Service Pack 1 * Orion NPM v9 - Service Pack 2 *…
  • I am having this same issue after I upgraded to NCM 7.0. Case Update: 291737 - IPAM and NCM So far they had me run the configuration wizard again and replace 2 database job engines. So far its a no go.
  • I've had the same problem. I have always linked it to the database or sqlservice. I hated doing it but I've had to kill the sqlserver service in order to get my upgrades. I can only imagine how corrumpt I'm making the database. We monitor 1018 Nodes, 3958 Interfaces, 10 Volumes, 4986 Total Elements. We also have a problem…
  • I found what I was missing.... Filter Results tab Records where Hostname starts with 10.15.136.4 Records where Message contains userid Select Fields tab Field: Message sort * function * Time Frame Tab Last 7 days This report shows me who accessed the dial server in the last 7 days and for how long. • I've learned from our SAN Admins that we use. HP EVA 5000's. Are there any plans for these?
  • Found it with some trial and error if anyone is interested. http://xxxx.orionwebsite.xxx/Orion/SummaryView.aspx?&AccountID=xxxxx&Password=xxxxx -Jason
  • Hi Mav, I have a spreadsheet or two that I can share as well. We document; SiteID's, Project, Physcial Location, WAN Circuit Type, IP Address and Subnet Mask. -Jason
