I created a simple report in Orion Report Writer that is extremely useful for finding out who unmanaged nodes. Audit Event Log Template. I filtered results by "Action Type is equal to Node unmanaged" and "records time logged is greater than or equal to 11/11/2015" <=This was just the date that we setup SAM. Time frame in…

Seems Stable, we are stuck outside of a change window for the Hotfix. Small problem with RabbitMQ and Database Maintenance, it looks like it cannot rotate the logs, it is addressed in the HF and there is a simple workaround. Really digging the Orion Maps improvement, missing a few features to replace Network Atlas, i would…

It is recommended to only make changes to the Database when the Application is down. With that being said, I have made that exactly change a few times with no incident it switches over to the new email. You may consider Pausing All Alert actions and give it a minute or two... There seems to be a different, well kinda related issue with a Large number of Discovery Profiles and the Windows Cred change not being able to update a large number of profiles. There is an official bug in place and there just be a fix in later releases.
-
Do you have a query to find the phantom Discovery Profiles? I noticed that the Save button for the Windows Credential Password dialog is set to an Unselectable state. Thinking that this was a bug, i created a work around. WMI Polling Windows Credential Passwords for Polling are currently unavailable to be changed for us in…

If you haven't done so, The best route in my eyes would be to run an Application Discovery. The Discovery would be fairly quick and it will at least give you an idea of which servers have IIS. I'm not sure why you would want to know the endpoints that have IIS and not want to monitor them actively. Maybe I am missing…

This is a known issue with SolarWinds after the 2018.4HF2 Release. The problem lies in IPv6 not being enabled on the nodes and it is strictly related to Linux Agents. Support is working on a fix but I'm not sure how far out it is. A work around would be to enable IPv6 on the nodes, we don't have that option at the moment.…

What type of devices are your referring to? Servers or Network Devices? OS?

I believe i answered my own question, I have come up with this. "SELECT Distinct AlertActive.AlertActiveID, AlertObjects.AlertObjectID, AlertConfigurations.Name, AlertConfigurations.Severity, AlertConfigurations.ObjectType, AlertObjects.EntityUri, AlertObjects.EntityType, AlertObjects.EntityCaption,…
