Any new info regarding this thread? The custom pages aren't great because you have to go find the device to actually drill down into the graphs :(

Today we tested CLR with SAFE permissions on a staging DB cluster. There were no issues that we could tell with the DB using CLR SAFE permissions. We then enabled CLR in production on a DB cluster with ~60 DB's. There was no interruption to any of the DB's and no restart or reload of any kind was required. The upgrade was…

Since starting this thread I have had some good conversations with our DBA's regarding CLR. When Brandon confirmed that we could use CLR in SAFE they were more open to enabling this for us and we are going to test the upgrade on a staging DB Cluster today and make sure they are comfortable with NPM and CLR. If possible…

Is there a way to monitor Voice Gateway's (number of active calls etc) 2800's 3800's .... yet?

Thanks. I'll open up a support ticket. Just FYI - The problem is when using the Universal Device Poller and assigning a label to a 'Table' Poller. 'Use labels from a table column' Testing is fine, select the column to use then select Finish. "Orion Universal Device Poller" "Could not reach JobScheduler service after 3…

It seems the read-only user is fine. I just dont understand having to add the blade to the system. This should be dynamic based on what service profile is applied. I could have one server assigned to a blade one hour and a different server applied the next hour (not really hour by hour but you get the point) Thanks for…

Yeah, adding the host to the blades defeats the purpose of stateless computing on UCS. It would be nice to see the Service Profile associated to this blade. Not sure if that is available in the current MIB's.

When you enable the checkbox poll for UCS you then enter the UCS username and password for a user that you create in UCSM. This uses HTTP to login and get data as well as SNMP to get other data "regular" node data. As I was writing this I was thinking (as I haven't tested) but does the "poll for UCS" only use HTTP or does…

So it is mandatory for all NPM versions going forward? My DB team was very concerned about this from a security perspective (I dont know enough about it to know) but they basically say that they wont support this on the Enterprise DB's :( Anyone else had this conversation with Enterprise DBA's? Jason

Thanks for the response .. I found some other posts talking about bad alerts. At some point some of our custom fields were modified and caused alert issues. The steps provided by lhorstma makes it easy to find the bad alert.

Not yet. Just wanted to see if anyone else noticed this. I will collect some additional information and open a ticket. Jason

This looks like a great report but there seems to be a problem when you try to download it

I would actually like to be able to filter what is displayed in the web interface as well as what events are stored in the Database. Thanks, Jason

Was this problem ever resolved? I have this same problem now after moving to a domain server that is owned by our server team. Thanks

This looks like a great idea but it seems there is a lot to be desired here. Maybe I just haven't played with it enough yet. Currently you can only add interfaces that are on the primary fabric to this main system page, we can't see the interfaces on both fabrics (FC and Ethernet) :( Is there a recommended minimum "role"…

I have everything but the DB running on VM's. Web Server - Dual Proc 3.0Ghz Opteron, 1GB Memory Both Polling engines - 3.0Ghz Opteron, 4GB Memory The performance is great with about 5000 elements between 2 pollers and I would highly recommend the separate web server for any implementation with more than a hand full of…

Did you ever find out what was going on here? I am seeing the same thing, 8 of these messages every min.
