Hi aussery well first you need to have SAM module available from your Customer Portal. Next, choose SAM as download and you should see the Oracle client from the list of additional downloads. see attached
-
Once you have created a custom poller for your UPS nodes, you can drag and drop the custom pollers on your map (in Network Atlas). This is applicable starting NPM 10.6. HIDDEN GEMS IN ORION NETWORK ATLAS
-
Are you running the latest version of NPM? I think that issue is known but for NPM 11.5.0 only, and supposedly was resolved when the 11.5.2 was released..
-
Hi simon.stone It looks like this has been moved to the AlertActive table and AlertHistory table..
-
Using one database for two Orion servers will not work by design. at this point you only have two options: 1. Install SAM on same box as NPM 2. Continue to install SAM on new box and create new database
-
May I ask what's the purpose of running the installer? when was the offline installer downloaded?
-
try running core repair and see if that helps. Go to Start > Control Panel > Uninstall a program > "SolarWinds Core Services" > REPAIR. Complete Configuration Wizard afterwards
-
Are you on NPM 11.5.x? Right now you cannot use Views by Device type as view will be applied to all dell devices. You may try to change the machine type/vendor of your DELL UPS through Device Studio, then use "views by device type"
-
I don't think you can do that since the Type of Property to monitor selected is Node. Unless you do a SQL query, perhaps its possible.
-
nope, I can download just fine:
-
Open Database Manager from your Orion server. Then click ADD DEFAULT SERVER. Next, expand your SQL Server and right-click your NetPefMon database. Select Database Details. And the Data space usage will be under Properties tab. This would show you the information you are looking for. Hope that helps.

Are the entries you're planning to delete are old entries and not installed on the server? If so, I believe Support has a tool for this type of cleanup..
-
That's always been that way.. Clicking Preview only lets you see the view itself, not the exact object you would like to see. IMO, better assign the Interface View to an interface first then check the results from there.

Run the following query against your Orion database delete FROM [dbo].[NotificationBlogs] delete FROM [dbo].[NotificationMaintenanceRenewals] delete FROM [dbo].[NotificationItems] Note: This will clear out all the data from the NotificationItems table. There are dependencies on the other two tables so they need to be…

the SmartCell Gateway looks like it would run on Universal Device Poller, not on the Device Studio.. can you run a test using UnDP and confirm if device is not responding to the OIDs set?
-
Hi lavann_williams@ultimatesoftware.com If you're already on NPM 11.5.x, you can disable specific hardware health by doing the following steps: 1. Go to Manage Hardware Sensors view (Settings > Node & Group Management > Manage Hardware Sensors). 2. Find the sensor(s) you want to manage. You can either use the Group by…

I'm not sure if NPM can but in IPAM, I think there's a way. Do you have this module installed?
-
Hi @hptech Yes, it's a known issue with Core 2017.3. You will need to apply the Orion 2017.3 Hotfix 1 on your Orion servers to be able to fix this. This can be downloaded from your Customer Portal.
-
When you go to Edit Node Properties for your Meraki node, do you see if it was added as an NCM node?
-
It was carried over that is why there are no HF for this in 11.5.3. The problem may be from a different source. Can you replicate then post the error message? Include the error report saved locally as well please
-
Are all your nodes Cisco devices? WLHM currently only works for those type of device, apparently.
-
Can you check your database and verify if LimitationID 336 is still present? Go to Limitations table and tell us also if there are whereclause value of 1=1 based on your error Could not find limitation with id 336.
-
Have you tried applying Orion 2015.1.2 Hotfix 5?
-
No I don't think so. You can ask your Sales rep to confirm
-
sample screenshot please?
-
I know this has been addressed, and everyone agrees its not a bug. But in case anyone needs more information - it's here: Alerts not triggering when custom property value is NULL
-
Hi fatemeh3051 Please check too if the Application Pool for the SolarWInds NetPefMon is started. To verify, go to IIS Manager > Expand server > Application pool and find the SolarWinds NetPefMon
-
yes there is. and it varies depending on the Orion version you currently have. if you wish to install it on a workstation you may do so by clicking "Download Network Atlas" on your map web resource.
-
Can you click one component that has problem (ie. Database files) and show us the screenshot? we might see what causes the status to be unknown from there

Hi darisb looks like an issue with the .Net Framework.. Can you please go to your Orion server, right-click Configuration Wizard and select "Run as Admin" Select three options and click Next. Do not skip Website Optimization and wait until it finishes.
