If the alert escalation any is not checked, the alert will only trigger once (as it stays ACTIVE) until the condition has been reset. If you want to constantly have this alert notify you, you may want to edit the Alert and then go to Trigger Actions > Select and Edit the Alert Action > Edit Selected Action. Next, go to the…

Yes, jacob.decker. On my end I used the Web alert manager to create a UnDP alert. See sample below:

awesome! I just hoped reiangel had the same result so this can be tagged as answered

Ok since these have different logins (I suppose), you can create a view then on the Settings page, go to Manage Accounts > select Account then Edit. Change the Node Details view from the Orion General settings drop down list: Click SUBMIT

Awesome! Glad to know that. Kindly mark this as answered for closure.

VMAN and STM are standalone modules. I doubt they are installed on the same box as your other Orion modules..
-
If you're on Orion 2015.1.x, you can use nodesdata.caption not like But if you're on older version of Orion, you can use nodes.caption not like

what version is your NPM?
-
Yup that's definitely it. I've had same issue with it before (having this table more than 60K) and this has caused the SW information service to crash. In effect, it would not trigger alerts on time, if not it would a few days after the issue occur. If you'd like, you can clear this table up (perform DB Backup first) then…

awesome!

I encountered that error before and found it was caused by IIS crashing. Have you already applied Orion Hotfix 6? I see that you're still on NPM 11.5.2.

to be more specific, can you confirm if you find these OIDs? (ie. 1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.1.1.1) http://knowledgebase.solarwinds.com/kb/questions/1196/What+object+IDs+%28OIDs%29+does+Orion+NPM+poll+for+interface+information%3F+What+types+of+interface+information+does+Orion+NPM+poll%3F

Its failing in the web service.. Can you check if you have .Net 4.5 installed and not version 4.6? or if the prerequisites are met?
-
ok so since you're using only HTTPS, please enable the SSL by changing the value to 1. Using database manager, click enable table editing and do the edit. once changed, test the alert and cross your

Oh okay... If that's the case, then most probably your device is not responding to the OIDs NPM is using to poll wireless info:…

yep those can be deleted. But I do not know exactly which module is using this folder so I guess before deleting these files, stop all Orion services.

Right now I do not think there s a way on the GUI to remove the stale notes from your Node details page. The only way I'm seeing to get around this is to remove rows from the NodeNotes table on your database.. Just make sure to take note of the NodeID to ensure that no other notes will be removed ie. delete from NodeNotes…

Hi dennis.shiburi@alteram.co.za and acmtix, Can you login to your Orion server and open Database Manager to access your database? From the list of tables, please open WebUserSettings table and find your AccountID. Kindly confirm if you have SettingName like ActiveAlerts*, just like the sample below:
-
awesome.

hmmm I wonder. I just noticed your already using orion core 2015.1.3 and yet SAM is still 6.2.2.. What module did you update recently? Do you have NPM as well?
-
Hi jasonm1975 Can you please send a screenshot of what you got after running the query mentioned by rukawarei? I used the same query and was able to execute this without error..
-
I was wondering if this happens to all web admin user accounts. If it does, regardless if its an AD account or Local web admin, then the issue lies with the dll file for the SCM. You can try to repair SAM and recreate website to see if it helps. But if the issue is only shown on a specific account, then it may be…

There might be something in the logs causing the DB Maintenance to halt. Can you login to your Orion server and go to C:\ProgramData\Solarwinds\Logs\Orion then find the most recent swdebugMaintenance.log Did it complete? When is the last time it ran? Where did it stopped?
-
Guess its time to open a ticket and have someone take a look then
