Go here to access Device Studio: For additional information for Device Studio, click here.
-
Or better.. try using Device Studio. This is available for users who own NPM 11.5.x and above.
-
I'm really curious as to why its failing. Can you re-run the NPM installer on your 2012 server and once the installation finishes, go to C:\ProgramData\Solarwinds and find the most recent OrionInstaller.log Paste what it says here
-
Yup that's safe to remove. All other configuration are stored on the other tables. To remove using the Orion Database Manager, click Enable table Editing against the dbo.DiscoveryProfiles and then right-click the row. Select Delete row.
-
Let me ask you this then, are they using same database? I mean, different DB instance but same content? If they do, and they have the same information through and through, why don't you just backup the database from your working environment and restore on the non-working?
-
Hey robren is it the SAM 6.2.2 HF2 that you installed? I just read the readme for SAM HF2 and it addresses issues for Agent.. I think I know what might happen.. When you installed this, did you remove the backup file from the c:\Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\Orion\AgentManagement\? Please check if the…
-
Ok cool. now.. would you know the specific hotfix you applied please? *forgive me for the many questions, curious kid here*
-
No, the information I sent to glsmith67 is to be done only on additional pollers. If your issue is with the Main Poller, do this instead: Add Node Application Struck with Error during Polling : Initial Poll in Progress - SolarWinds Worldwide, LLC. Help and S…

The screenshot you got looks like mine. If you expanded WCF do you see TCP Port Sharing ticked? Also check if the IIS is like this ^
-
They will stay in tact since nodes and other configuration are stored on your database
-
What version is your NPM atm? I've seen from latest NPM release v12.0, the MIB has been updated to recognize more wireless controllers.. Since its using a device-specific MIBs for APs and such, you can create Custom Pollers for it.
-
Meraki should be using the same as Cisco WC.
-
i didn't apply any hotfix, ecklerwr1. I just cleared this one out and it fixed the long running queries we're having
-
Yup. You will need to add the Custom Poller chart on the Node Details page: Once there, click Edit Resource and place the title accordingly: This of course, granted that the node on your "non-working environment" is actually assigned to the DSG tunnel UnDP.
-
When did you update SAM? I think it may have repackaged since 2015.1.3 has just been out last week..?
-
Not too sure about when it will be implemented or when next release will come up.. so I guess, you need to do SWQL for the meantime.
-
For you and scotthill 's reference: Requirements for the Orion Database Server (SQL Server) Hope that helps.
-
Thanks! LOL.
-
If you have access to your Orion database, run the query against the [dbo].[DiscoveryProfiles] table and you should see what stagnant discovery profiles are there
-
good then.
-
OK since there had been some changes in the tables, why not try this one: NodesData.SysName not like '*sql*' Also make sure the Type of View is set to Summary just like what's in here:
-
Orion Platform 2015.1.2 Hotfix 2 * Allied-Telesis device shown as Allied-Telesyn. * The Message Center does not work for non-administrator user accounts. * Filter Nodes (SQL) fails for the Report from Orion Report Writer resource. * The 2 MB line is duplicated on the Report Chart. * You are notified that your database…

Hey raje.vijay@eclinicalworks.com You said manual run of DB Maintenance. Sounds to me your DB Maintenance did not finish doing its job.. when does your SW DB Maintenance scheduled to run? Can you verify the following: 1. No anti-virus or even firewall is blocking the tool to run automatically. If you have anti-virus,…
-
yup, that seems to be the case since running Configuration Wizard will create a new row on the websites table and make the new one PRIMARY since it is using your server name by default; and not the FQDN..
-
bmcmcm If you do not have anything setup in the alert manager then don't look at the Active alerts. And don't get confused, while you do not have anything set up yet, Solarwinds still has this Events web page were it would show what is going on with your monitored object.
-
Can you check if the website bindings for SolarWinds NetPerfmon from your IIS Manager and confirm the IP Address part is set to All Unassigned?
-
Weird. I replicated what you did (placed top xx nodes by cpu in the Orion Summary page) and I do have the EDIT button for these resources: What version is your Orion atm?
-
I'm pretty sure numbers 3 and 4 are both non-SW databases. The "NPM Temp DB" is within the solarwinds DB itself (ie. ldf files) If you upgrade your NCM to the later version, its data will be merged into your 'NetPerfMon' database

Hi glsmith67 try this: A SAM template status shows Initial Poll in Progress - SolarWinds Worldwide, LLC. Help and Support
