Same issue here. I am trying to evaluate it on a Server 2022 DataCenter system. I have already tested 2 other solutions without any issues, so the problem has to be with Kiwi itself.

At this time, I do not have a request.

Hi Roger, Thank you so much for this! I was able to create the alerts that I need now. BTW, do you know if there are any plans on publishing a tutorial for creating basic and advanced alerts in Orion? I think that it would be a very usfull addition to theexisting documentation. Thanks Again! Jon
-
That is what I was looking at, but I cannot figure out how to create the alert. Can you step me through creating an alert for the template that you created to monitor disk usage? I am pretty sure if I can see one example, I can figur eout how to create the others. Jon

Roger, I have one more question. According to the documentation, it looks like I should be able to use these APM monitors to send alerts via Orion. However, I have not been able to get this to work. Can you point me to some other documentation for setting this up? The documentation that I have found thus far is a little…

Thanks a lot Roger! I am now monitoring drive usage succesfully! Jon

A report would be great! IAVA's are alerts sent out to inform the DoD user community of security issues with software. Most of them are for programs and OS'es, but they do send them out for hardware as well. Specifically, we would be interested in IAVA compliance on our network equipment. Thus, if an IAVA was issued…

Hi Jiri, I have logged into Cisco Services Access Management and verified that my CCO account has all the rights that you mention below (see attachment). I have also been working with Cisco as well on this. Would it be okay if I got Cisco directly in contact with you so you guys could discuss this directly with each other?…

Here are the results from your script: C:\>cscript //nologo test.vbs Statistic:5
-
Yes... I will keep checking on it.
-
Hi Christine, Please count me in as well. Might I also suggest that you add IAVA compliance? Jon
-
Hi Roger, Thank you very much for this! I am running into an issue though. I created everything as described, but I keep getting an "Application Status is Down". Specifically, it states "The return code is different than expected. The script returned status code DOWN." Jon
-
No luck on this end...
-
I am having the exact same issue. IE displays he 403 error while FireFox displays just a plain white screen.
-
Good luck with the CISSP! That is one bugger of a test! To this day, I'm not sure how I passed it ;-) Jon
-
I will see what I can do... Jon

Thanks Denny, I think I have it now. There are two other items that I have questions about. First is the settings for Statistic Warning Threshold and Statistic Critical Threshold. Both state "Assigns warning status to the component if the statistic value equals or exceeds this threshold", but since I am looking at % of…

Hi Jiri, Just wondering if Cisco has gotten back to you about the issue with my CCO account? Thanks, Jon

Thanks Jiri!

I am running s72033_rp-IPSERVICESK9-M, version 12.2(33)SXI2a. The blade is a WS-X6748-GE-TX CEF720 Rev. 2.0 with a DFC3A daughter card.

One of these days, I am going to try to sit down and see what I can do. Unfortunately, regex has always baffled me, so I am not sure if I will have any luck or not. If I do get something working, I'll definitely post it here. Jon

I have APM 2.0 installed (very nice), but I still have not been able to figure out how to monitor disk space. There are a lot of counters available for diske queues and what not, but I do not see anything related specifically to free space available on "x" partition. Is this doable, or am I just overlooking it? Jon

Here is a real simple request. When sorting on the address fied, have an option to sort numberically in addition to alphabetically. By this I mean, if I want to sort by address, then I expect to see x.x.1.x, x.x.2.x, x.x.3.x, etc and not x.x.1.x, x.x.22.x, x.x.7.x, etc. Not very significant, just a little annoying. Jon

Thanks CourtesyIT!

Hi Roger, I was able to get your scripts running again. I found out that our Server Team has just implemented a bunch of security changes via GPO. This must have been what caused the scripts to quit working. I had used a Domain Admin account for the WMI credentials, but those quit working with the changes. I switched to a…

True, we just saw this when the backups kicked-off last night
-
Thanks Roger, you had written that script for me in fact. Unfortunately, it quit working for me with the last update, so I tried the DiskFreeSpace template. I'll dig out the script again and see if I can figure out why it quit working. Jon
-
Thanks Stuart, I really like the SQL idea! Anyway, a couple of reboots latter, the original alerts are now working, go figure...

Unfortunately not, I have opened a TAC with Cisco and will let everyone know what the outcome of that is. Jon
