There is still no way(That I have found) to access host hardware stats(RAID status, temperature.. etc) via Orion using CIM. Is this a feature we should be expecting from Solarwinds sometime soon?
-
Craig.. Still waiting on this, any ETA for access to this beta?
-
I would also like to see this feature. Right now all my "Ping only" devices have an Unknown machine type. It would be great to be able to manually select what they are, as well as create custom machine types.
-
Any chance on getting in on the Beta also?

The way I understand it, if you have a host with 2 quad core processors running 15 VM's 14 of which have 1vcpu and 1 has 2vcpu's the machine with 2 vcpu's has to wait till there are 2 cores available at the same time before it can do anything. In esx 3.5 and 4.0 these 2 cores had to be available on the same physical cpu.…

Neither of these prevent the need for 2 cores to be available at the same time to service a 2vcpu system or 4 cores to service a 4vcpu system. That is where the most performance issues come from as that need increases the cpu ready time on the vm.
-
Wouldnt that still require the ability to poll the guest itself? From within the VMWare Vsphere client you have the graphs for Host CPU active vs Host CPU Available I want an alert whenever Host CPU is equal or greater to 60% of Host CPU Available

Has Anyone managed to get this working? I have many Linux configs I need to monitor for changes

I would like to see Linux DHCP server support

VCenter 4.1

Hate to bring up an old topic, but I cant seem to find an answer anywhere. Is Orion Multithreaded yet?

I too would like an answer to this.
