Yes, I've already looked at those OIDs, but I'm not sure I understand how to tie all this data together to achieve the objective. Assuming I'm able to get a chart that lists all my neighbor IP addresses, is that actually going to show me which ones are going down and for how long, etc?

I was able to figure it out after doing some more research. From my experience the Category: field MUST be SQLServer:Database Mirroring (see example screenshot below). Use the URL below to learn about and pick the counters you need. technet.microsoft.com/.../ms189931.aspx
