  • Funny one. Had a user with a PC that was constantly having issues. I was trying to help remotely, as this user was not one that you wanted to see in person. But finally - had to go. When I got there - the PC was covered with every Fridge Magnet, Door Magnet, Magnet Magnet known to man. Needless to say we had a little…
  • I tried running the Netflow Analyzer on a PC that is local to the router, and it worked. That tells me that the flow traffic is probably being blocked at the ASA. I will try looking at that to see if I can open the necessary port. Any ideas on that one?
  • Hi, Did you get any of those to work? I am going through MIB Walk, but have not been able to find exactly what I need (other then Fan speed). I would like to get Read\Write transfers, Temperature (current), Disk space, and Health. Haven't found anything yet, that works well in NPM. Thanks in Advance.
  • I have all of the above setup. When I do a show ip-flow export it shows it is transferring data, however my Netflow computer does not see anything. (Advises Netflow is not setup on the selected interface). I am running engineers toolset 10, using the netflow tool that came with it. Any issues with that?
  • Update to this post. Working with SW support verified this is a bug in the Orion program, not an issue with the Cisco 871 devices. Hotfix 1 has been released (Customer Portal) for Version 10 of SW. I installed it yesterday, and it seems to have corrected the issue.
  • I would also like to be able to do this. I have a similar issue, but with UPS devices. We have a mix of 120V up to 230V UPS devices. Solarwinds Groups my like devices, so when I use the View by Device Type, I only have one page option that I can display. That might be fine, but the Pollers used for these devices are the…
  • It suggests it yes, but I don't know how to configure what it is mentioning. That is the help I am looking for, from anyone using ASA.
  • Actually I finally figured it out today. When I was looking at my Accounts (including my own) I noticed the Device View said "Missing", even though in the account it was set to "By Device Type". I ended up having to go into each account, and change the view to "None" and save it. Then had to go back in, and change it to…
  • Another Update. If I delete the node entirely from Solarwinds, and then add it again, these interfaces appear and I start getting stats again. I am going to see how long it lasts this time. That seems to point to NPM being the issue. If it continues to happen I will open a support ticket.
  • Yes. If I do a list resources, it sees them in Green. They are checked off. In the past I would remove the resources, and then add them in again. This usually corrected the problem. But that does not work anymore. I know the interfaces are up....I am just not getting stats from them.
  • Hi Toms, Not sure if you got this working, but I am using a Cisco 871, and can confirm that the Interface will take the ip flow command. However the interface must also be configured. For example on one of our FA interfaces, it is just setup as a Trunk port to a switch. On that interface, the ip flow command is invalid. On…
