  • My ticket is out there but, it's still not resolved.
  • It *Just* choked again so I'm uploading the debug for you now. The SNMP polling is now dead in the water... The ICMP will work till the end of time. • I have another good one for you... Every time the website refreshes, it marks the OS the poller is running on differently. It's running on a Windows 2008 server... See below: Polling Engine Status Last Database Upadate Now Polling Engine on IP Address Last Database Sync 240 minutes, 1 second ago Network Elements 439 Nodes,…
  • Support just sent me an email and asked me to revert back via a repair of NPM SLX. I'm going to let it run and see if it will blip after it's third reboot, if it does I will run diagnostics before a restart and revert.
  • Already did that this morning. I had to reboot to get the thing running again and it crashed an hour later... I rebooted again and now it's doing a complete baseline... If it crashes again I will run another diagnostic... In the one I uploaded this morning, the crash I think was around 4:30/5:00 judging from when the…
  • Is there a way to revert back off SP1? It just crashed again an hour after restarting the services.
  • The other odd issue is that I could have sworn before this Service Pack that it knew it was on Windows 2008 if you look on the webpage under polling status, since the update, it thinks it's on some version of Windows NT...
  • Ran into the same issue, it stopped polling sometime between 5PM and 9AM this morning and is backed up 26,000 SNMP polls +. I ran the diagnostics again and asked them to add it to the ticket.
  • Thanks guys, I had a break and created a ticket for you Case #99731 and uploaded the files to leapfile.com.
  • So far it's working like a champ! You could probably mark this as 310B... Who know's though after they change the firmware to 4.0... I thank you for your help Gareth!
  • We have the same issue... Been working on it for two weeks... Just randomly stops and there are never any logs or reasons for the support group. Today I found some patches for Server 2008, including a few SNMP fixes for mass SNMP polls from the OS that would cause the SNMP engine to fail, that didn't work, then found there…
  • I have the same problems with Fortigates and opened a ticket but they said since I was on a demo, they couldn't help me. It almost looks like it’s not expecting a space between the hostname and the # symbol down at the waiting for… Is there anyway you could edit the Fortinet 300A to a 310B and make it account for that if…
  • Bringing this conversation back to life... Just finished an import of a couple thousand pollers from What's Up Gold, and I'm missing this feature! We have several devices that are coming up unknown because they are ping only.... One other thing I'd like to see is the ability to do http polling... Maybe this is more an APM…
  • Karlo, Do you have an email or instructions for doing this? I don't have time to sit on the phone with support today. If I can grab pieces throughout the day I could probably compile anything you need!
  • I've been working with them on this for the last month and a half. I'm going to be going back to 2003 on Friday as I don't have any more time to troubleshoot with the developers. It sounds like it's affecting quite a few people. I was hoping for a fix before Friday but, dosn't look like that's going to happen!
  • You've got it! I must have accidentally downloaded the trial eval rather than the free version so I uninstalled, deleted the directory, etc... Reinstalled the free version and the darn thing still says 23 out of 30 days remaining. I just want to make sure if I load some devices in here that's it's not going to die in 30…
  • Ok, yep, it's 10.1.1... I don't have time to open a ticket today... The other really odd thing that's happened is since upgrading, my DL380 fan's are constantly running at high speed... What in the world... I don't see any CPU issues, etc. Really quite odd!
  • I found it, it seems if I download the entire installer that it includes 3.7 rather than just a hotfix or service pack. Thank!
  • Reboot seems to fix the SNMP Polling issue... I'll keep an eye on it to make sure it stays working!
  • So far so good... Just did a fresh SLX installation using 9.5... This was a new purchase, was planning on 9.1SP5 but, ended up with 9.5.0. I havn't had a good chance to play with it. One thing I'm still disappointed in is that there is no AD authentication built in without the EOC... I wish I didn't have to create user…
