We need an update to https://www.solarwinds.com/product-checksum with the correct checksum for the hotfix installer.

Any news on this capability ? (Lists of interfacegraphs) Also a very varm me to on the feature request of BryanBecker, for a sum of multiple interface graph solution..
-
Just needed to bring another very warm me to on the idea of licensing based on actually responding nodes. And the need to monitor based on arp replies.. More and more nodes has FW.
-
Warbird have you tried to turn off node monitoring in Cirrus(NCM) We have seen serious performance impact on our solution when running Node monitoring in cirrus. This functionality is best kept delivered from NPM. /heZ

This kind of solution would be really nice, and would most definitively make me wanna use an PDA type phone.. But i general any progress in supporting mobile devices would be great. Just tried with my current Nokia, and i doesn't work with the built in browser.. heZ

We still the have the "wrong" icon on the nodes in the Tree Views and so on. (Blinking red dot's) Do you have a suggestion for filtering on the "Nodes with problems" resource, so that Nodes which only has down interfaces marked as "NotSoMuch" down doesn't list here? but gets listed if interfaces marked "Critical" goes…

Count me in also :)

We have the same need, newer MGE ups mgt cards reports remaining battery time in seconds, would really like to have that shown as minutes. This also applies for a lot of other stuff, would be great if this functionality was in the next version ?
-
And here, this needs to be sorted out!! Josh even told me that it should work during Cisco Live this summer... So something's iffy here..
-
Would just like to second this request as it would clean up the solution. At least it should default to an ICMP icon or something when the nodes are ICMP only. Also a litte guide on how to add new icon's would be nice. Have'nt tested adding new icons on v8.1 but i managed to get the new icon's working on the web, but not…

Yust a me too message! Would be great to have these decoded to mac / port=InterfaceIndex. snmpTrapOID=CISCO-MAC-NOTIFICATION-MIB:cmnMIBNotifications.1…

Denny, Just needed to welcome this change in the product upgrade process. I think the community will really appreciate an Release candidate phase. Hopefully we will then get rid of the "normal" hotfix release the first weeks after a new version has been made available to the public :) /heZ

6) Be able to grant users node management rights for nodes flagged with custom property X having the value value "foo", limited node management in other words, limited by view limitation :) //This would be very high on my list also :)

We "solve" this by unchecking the alert "Page me when a router reboots" in the "Configure Alerts" Dialog box. Then exit the dialog box with Done and reactivate the alert function again. Always felt that It was just me missing something, but I guess not... A bit strange this has never been fixed before. Should be an…

Another temp fix, Created a "dummy" node, so that I can do a multiple edit. Changing the password for example is'nt so easy in the DB, as they are encrypted..
-
Great feature, but since they are so "well" hidden, Would I also like to have a vote for buttons for this.. Would also like to know if there is somewhere a recommendation for the order of starting and stopping services?

Just another me to :)

The busniess case is that my customers would like to be able to only get reports on a separate interface on a node. Instead of getting all events on all interfaces. Having DSLAM's with a hundred interfaces, of which the interfaces more regualary goes up/down since some customers do shut down their equipment(ADSL modems).…

dcleompte, Same here, we have allot of both Fiber to the home and xDSL ports we would like to monitor, same need as the other guys, we need to track usage, but not status.. should be a UNI port mode. I'm not monitoring any Tx ports with users, but I have a lot of friends who would like to do that also, but i skews the maps…

Would also like to add to the request of having a way of checking Custom mib data in the System Manager, doesn't have to be all that, only a right click, and something like "show last custom mib poller results" with a table displaying the different pollers with their last reading. I guess this comes from the fact that, as…

Will definitly be testing this, also doing som consulting on another company where there is an Cisco Callmgr solution. But i guess my next question the will be, will there be an scaled down SLA monitor ? would think that would be a market for that also, I would think that you have a good market base also in the ISP market…

We normally do this in SQL, just checking the old and new NodeID / InterfaceID in the SQL or via interface details dialog box. For earlier version this did the trick: Update InterfaceTraffic Set NodeID=%NewNodeID%, InterfaceID=%NewInterfaceID% Where NodeID=%OldNodeID% And InterfaceID=%OldInterfaceID% Version 8.5 did split…

We also see the same problems, everything ok with 7.5 install, migrated to 7.7 Have had serious performance issues. Did check the component status, but there where no Objects with high Call Time, even if the dllhost.exe run by IISUSER_SOLARWINDS Ran at 100% load. Also checked the IIS Logs, everything OK there. Navigated…

I'd really like the possibility to have more flexibilty in grouping functionality. More levels and ability to create temp groups would be highly appreciated. Also query based dynamic groups would be nice heZ

But... Forgot to mention that the System Manager disappears on me also. So If I need more Hourly retaing than 180, I need to go into registry if I need to change something in the "Orion Network Performance Settings" Window... change it to 180 again, and try to rember to change it back to 400 before the Nightly Job, deletes…
-
Hmm, After changing the registry value, I've now get the following DialogBox when i try to go into "Orion Network Performance Settings" Run-time error '380': Invalid property value If I change back the RetainHourly it open's again. I'm currently running System Manager Version 7.7.15, would this work in a later version, or…

Definitely agree this would be great! /heZ

We've experienced the same at least three times. You know something is really wrong when the Cisco 871 has 300Mbit on Gi0/1 :( I guess we all should open cases on this..
