Here is a workaround for manage groups with a search box https://thwack.solarwinds.com/docs/DOC-204269

This is the right link: "https://www.surveygizmo.com/s3/3814294/September-2017-Mission-Accomplished-Survey" The wrong one is: "https://www.surveygizmo.com/s3/3814294/September-2017-Mission-Accomplished-Survey%20" (white space)

I linked my account a while ago. Could I still get the thwack points?

Voted. Created a SAM template to list current Solarwinds users. (https://thwack.solarwinds.com/docs/DOC-192290). But hope SW can give us native solution.

This looks great! Signed up. Is the download link sent via email? Thanks

I was looking for same feature, but no solution found yet. Created a workaround with SWQL. Hope it is helpful. https://thwack.solarwinds.com/docs/DOC-186979

Here is a workaround * Find the http://url-link-to-your-web-report * Edit the “view” add a “Custom HTML” * In the view, click Edit “Custom HTML”, * add the following codes:

I upgraded NPM to 11.5.2 and the original code still works for me. Please make sure your Web server IIS supports ASP, not Solarwinds itself.

Thanks for reply. All nodes are polled by SNMP by default. There are some WMI application monitors for windows servers but not many. I delete a few unused WMI monitors, the CPU usage is slightly better, about 5%. I will try to add a 2nd core to the VM poller to see any help.

It seems all the Solarwinds processes together contribute the high CPU usage, not just a single process BTY, what the GUID means following SWJobEngineWorker2.exe? From which table in DB I can find the GUID? Thanks
-
Thanks for reply. Empty groups were empty, no any menbers. On additional poller, it seems SAM JobEngineWorker2 use most CPU usage, but not more than 50%. Please see the screenshots Thanks

Thanks aLTeReGo I am planning to upgrade NPM to 11.5.2 and SAM 6.2.1 first to see whether the issues fixed. If not I will log a support call. At the moment I have a workaround in place: an alert been set-up for process w3wp.exe. If the RAM usage is more than 1.5GB, a VBScript will run to restart IIS Solarwinds AppPool and…
-
It seems no more improvement as the CPU usage is already low (30-40%) Please see attached screen shots Another question: The additional poller CPU is quite high. Is it normal? Additional poller is polling about 900 servers Thanks

"notconnect" <> (no equal) "down", they are 2 different status

Hi Thanks for reply. My issues is: I can add virtual IP (treated as a node) in SW using Ping & UCS polling, SNMP not working I can add primary Fabric Interconnects A in SW using SNMP & UCS polling. I can add secondary Fabric Interconnects B in SW using SNMP only, UCS polling not working. Is this just natural or issues with…

I have similar issues after upgrade to NPM 11.5.1, but no SAM 6.2. On the primary and 2 APEs all have permission issues. Ran Repair, fixed on primary but not APEs FAILEDRepairread[AppPoolUser]Root:{HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\SolarWinds.net\SolarWinds 2002\Orion\Web Root Dir}Error: Unable to obtain app pool user name using…

Hi Will, Actually I did not use custom HTML, in a view page I just added a “User Links” resources. Then edit the resource to add the MSSQL Report URL to the field. Users just click the link to open MSSQL report from SQL server directly. You may ask for credential when loading report, on SQL server you need create a reports…

Thank you Karlo again. I have applied the changes you suggested on both pollers. I will let you know the results next week. Thanks Patrick

I have same "issue". Any fix found?

Maybe the best way is to ask your DBAs to setup the reporting service and install the report builder. If you are happy with Orion Report Writer reports, you can just copy the SQL queries to MSSQL report builder. It should work without or little modification.
