  • Kevin, If it's the hotfix5, it didn't help one bit. I received a reply from support that there is no fix for this and that I will have to wait for the next release. So, are we out of luck with this issue. I'm also told by support that the slowness is normal behavior.

  • We have kind of a similar situation: We are testing environmentals with a 6509, and we think we have the right MIB (CISCO-ENVMON-MIB.my). We are testing advance (in a LAB environment) alerts for power supply/fan, we see the traps come across on the WEB interface under "traps" in the followiing text: "Mar 18 13:46:18.467…

  • Do you know what the OID in SW (advance alerts) is for Chassis, fan, power supply? We are testing with a 6509, we see the traps, but not alerting based on our current alert config. Thanks,

  • Can someone give me the definition of elements? Or what table would I look under in the database to get the exact count. The database details info gives me one number, but the pollers combined show a lower number.

  • Did you ever call support for this issue, and what was their response. They are telling me that I need to upgrade to V9.1, so are you having this issue with V9.1?

  • Sir, Can you share how you did the alerting for environmental alerts for 6509. We are trying to do the same at our shop and can't see to get the alert. We see the trap coming from syslog, but the advance alert we configured is not working. Thank you, Herman

  • This would be very useful, we have over 1,500 locations and be able to place them in the exact location is a nice feature.
