KMSigma, is there a way to add the username that acknowledged the alert as well?
-
Yes they do go down, I have changed the sites to show worst status now, and this seems to be working a little bit better
-
Yes I have a couple at the moment, this is why this is strange, and it would seem that it is only happening at this one site. I have scheduled some testing for next week to see if I can replicate this issue
-
This is exactly why I posed the question, why did they not go into down status, I have even changed the default from 120 seconds to 30 seconds
-
They weren't showing as down, they were all showing as Warning, causing the site to also only show warning, but in fact they were all down, there was a major power failure, and resulted in them all being off for more than 5 hours, yet SolarWinds only showed them as warning.

Hi PeterLyttle, Could you perhaps share with me how you did the full integration? Was it only this one part of code for the powershell command, or was there something else. Also did you need to use any API's on Manage Engine?

Hi, This is exactly why I posted the question, there must be some way to add additional information into the trigger action, especially node details and custom fields, I hope there is someone else out there that has the same issue
-
Hi, I have also looked everywhere when creating the trigger action (email), and found nothing, Also tried adding the variable manually. I am assuming it would need to be linked to the right DB table somehow, but I am not a DB expert.

Yes they are on the nodes as well as on the main group (Portsmouth) as a site down alert
-
My Question today is kind of two fold. I have set up dependencies for the different sites across the globe, so that we only receive on alert when all the nodes in that group goes down. So I created a root group for the country, then a sub group for the site within the country (some countries have more than 5 sites) and…
-
I am aware of that, the issue is that they go into a warning state, and then they remain in warning for more than 5 hours, thus never goes "DOWN" when in fact they are completely off
-
Thanks that works perfectly. Now the report is more complete
-
I have added that string into the SWQL, and then changed the layout to include the field but it returns all blank entries
-
Is there a way we can add the username that acknowledged the alert as well

Is there not a way that we may use a SQL query to get the Node name into the alert trigger? I am not a DB expert, and thus does not have direct access to the DB to explore and see where this could even be found? !
