A very welcomed addition! I think over the last 18 months to 2 years, Solarwinds has made more great steps in amazing directions, then they did in the previous 5 years before that. Please keep this coming
-
I'm thinking so.....
-
Thanks for the article.

It asked for Nodes using SolarWinds backup. The answer is there but under applications, 3 Nodes are warning but not all 3 are warning and using SolarWinds backup. Edit: I do actually see your point upon reflection. The term "using" is the wrong choice of words there. Luckily I just clicked on the 2 applications in warning…

Apologises for mine, it might not be readable. I was in need of coffee when I clicked the link!
-
Me too, getting that I have already completed them when I haven't hulattp
-
Depends how good voice recognition could be I guess. Password resets must be the bane of any service desk analyst's life!
-
How did you get the text to be live, as in im guessing that count 126 will change if something goes down? How was that done?
-
Done I might have got carried anyway and reviewed a lot of your products..
-
That is beautiful! Thank you, been after something similar to this for ages. I will be sure to have a play and explore the possibilities.
-
Yeah I will give you that typo was a poor choice of words. I just knew people would just look at the left had side, blindly answer and then moan as they claim the don't exactly match on everything.
-
I think a lot of us run into that battle. I can see the benefit but the wallet holders can not yet.
-
Bump

This has come up a few times over the years. They offer MSP (I know its not the same as the full versions, NCM etc) so have no interest in making it Multi tenanted. Why only sell a product once when you can sell it 3 times. I'd love the feature but it wont come.
-
In fairness I think the issue surfaced again on Thwack a few days ago and you have officially responded as a result. Try getting someone from Dell or BT to do that
-
Has anyone from SW's actually said why it wasn't an option? Seems like one of those moments where you come up with something really good and then someone points out 1 small things that really obvious that you've missed. Sitting there like "facepalm" Anywho..... Bump!
-
All questions in.... Now time to win a helicopter
-
$3000 a foot, how generous In all fairness id give it all up to live somewhere like that. I guess we are a small island so don't have the vast distances to cover with cables.. its interesting to hear about the differences, I'm sure they will balance out, eg your food is cheaper and we pay more tax etc. But anyway back to…

My eyes were drawn to the wrong answer straight away. Re read it and was like ahhh that's the one they want
-
Yeah it is now hahaha. These things sometimes happen, the answer 2 was correct it was just the wording of the question and the fact some people saw different views. Maybe today's question should just change too
-
Not one for me, however..... I how now been opened up to the world of GNS3 Academy!! So thank you for that I think I shall be getting involved with the CCNA one shortly
-
That’s some serious heat! I hope you all have aircon? Virtually no houses have it in the UK My current situation is no home or office Airco and my car has no working aircon and I’m now suffering as I choose not to fix my drivers side window that is stuck closed
-
I always play the Cisco exam ruling to Solarwinds questions. If there is a Cisco (Solarwinds) product in the answer always pick that I personally would have also called the exterminator first and then sorted out the PC, However I knew they would want their product as the answer
-
Personally nothing. In all honest I really don't think its as big a thing here in the UK. Even Black Friday is a watered down version of the madness you see in the states.
-
Today's question just be aware by Solarwinds back up they just mean how many are in a warning state because of the Application Solarwinds back up. Application being the key word there.
-
Maybe I'm missing something here but they do have documentation? How to create a non-administrator user for SAM polling - SolarWinds Worldwide, LLC. Help and Support Alternatively you can also poll your Servers through SNMP and then create a non admin user for Application templates only, granting specific access to only…
-
I've up-voted this as it would have its uses however isn't this covered in doing a technical handover to the teams that will use the product? I mean if an alert is that complex then maybe it should have a handover/Doc to actually explain it? I know that's what I've done with complex conditional group alerts
-
Not a current one, but a nightmare I once had a job for. I know its not a server room but I would get shot for posting that
-
Basically it's dead however they are slowly adding Network Atlas on roids into Orion. I personally only use Network Atlas for NOC RAG Dashboards. I don't really see any use for it now other then that and maybe Rack diagrams etc. Certainly not needed for Mapping Devices anymore. I hope they open up Map customisation and add…

Please actually read today's question, straight forward but I took a re read to make sure I had the correct answer. I don't want to see any moaning about wording today Or any calls for a do over
